lo_bush i used to be like you (still am to an extent) but got worn down by always doing everything for everyone and trying to help but failing (last xmas I did my OH's shopping for my family, My familys shopping for OH and my own shopping somewhere in between amongst organising it all!)

But I've finally learnt to ask for help or explain that i can't do something straight away (obv not possible if someones ill!) and its taken a lot of pressure off me - now I've finally got a little time to myself!

    C xxx

I hear everything that you're saying and I know I should give myself a good talking to, learn to say no occasionally and put myself first but it's easier said than done!! :D Well done you for finding the strength to ask for help etc.I sound like I'm feeling sorry for myself, which is so not me, so guess I'll just either have to put up or shut up.
WI tonight for me so hopefully I'll be rewarded with a nice weightloss, I'll be really fed up if not!!

Hi, it is tomorrow, the best night of the week to go I think, it used to be a Monday for me and I'd worry all weekend.

Hopefully I won't get lost this time, has anyone else had experience of leaving SW for a while and getting back into it? How hard was it?

Hi sampa, i've rejoined a couple of times after having had really good weightlosses falling, spectacularly, off the wagon and regaining the weight plus a whole lot more for good measure. I've found that although the faces change the general feeling of support within the group has stayed the same and I've managed to get 'back into it' relatively easily. ( which does rather beg the question why did I let myself 'get out of it' ?). Everyone has been great. I've read on here that some groups have been rather less supportive, but I have to say that has not been my experience. I hope that will encourage you to make that first step and go along, but if not everyone on here will provide amazing support if you decide to try and 'go it alone'
Best of luck which ever way you decide to go :D
