Hi y'all, after I read the post by kellybigboobs it made me think about my weight loss (2st 1 1/2lb), and to make it 'real' for me, I went and lifted up my daughter who is 2 st. I tried to carry her around for as long as I could.... didn't last too long! Hows THAT for a feel good factor!!

Furr - be VERY proud of your weightloss. :j :j I think it's marvellous! :T I'm only on 1 and a half stones and I can't tell you how proud I am of that.

Imagine your daughter and a bag of potatoes stuffed down your trousers!!! (Or up your jumper if you prefer!!;) ):rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Does anyone else have the same trouble.
I've had 2 weeks so far of late shift, and have another to....I've totally fell off, having regained all I lost plus more in that short space of time..
I do miss the image therapy, I think that is the main reason I lost so well in the first 3 weeks. (8lbs).
How do you guys keep up your self discipline?
I'm getting desperate to do well, for my wife and family's sake...as well as my own health!
One day at a time is what I am trying to complete, and today is so far so good!
    Attend SW Tuesdays =
Walk to station every day = :j
3 workouts per week = None :embarasse
Plan my meals weekly = Nope:eek:

LoneR113, my husband is unofficially trying to do it too, and he also works nightshift out in the community, and has picked up the bad habit of stopping into the local petrol station for a coffee and a sarnie. If I'm out and about I try mainly to eat fruit until I can make something more substantial, or bring some ham or chicken with me. Could you bring a packed 'lunch'? Depending on whether you are doing a red or green meal, you could bring microwave rice (check the syns, some are very low), or make up a salad with egg and ham....
If I can think of anything else I'll let you know.
Btw, my own hubby has yet to get in the 'zone', but once you're there, it becomes second nature! You did well the first time so chin up!!

Pennylane- thanks so much for the support, it really gives you a lift when you see the encouragement from others! :D
If I put the spuds up my jumper I might be mistaken for a) having put weight back on  , or b) being pregnant again!

Hi, it is tomorrow, the best night of the week to go I think, it used to be a Monday for me and I'd worry all weekend.

Hopefully I won't get lost this time, has anyone else had experience of leaving SW for a while and getting back into it? How hard was it?

I started SW the first time in January '04 and left just before xmas '05. I restarted Sept '07 and it was dead easy to get back into it. You have the basic knowledge so its not as confusing as it was the first time, you just have to check some foods are still free/HEb's. I lost 3.5stone the first time (but put it all back on plus more), and have just over that (having already lost 2) to go this time. I love it - it works for me!

OH is just cooking a HUGE hot free quorn curry with LOADS of rice and I'm having a glass of red with it as my only syns today
