    hehe scroogey

I doubt I could get dh to do housework, he'd probably wear the pinny though;)

Didn't get the job today so i'm a bit gutted, the woman who interviewed me clearly didn't like me from the off. She took barely any notice of my replies and gave me such fake smiles each time I finished talking. Never mind onwards and upwards...

I have made pasta and a homemade tomato sauce to have with some tuna. But i'm not really feeling hungry due to the crisps I ate earlier!!!!!

    Mel x

really brassed off tonight - was looking forward to my seafood omlette for dinner when OH comes home and tells me he had a three course lunch and doesn't want anything. We're out tomorrow - do you think it would be ok to eat on Friday? i'm so annoyed I've lost my own appetite  :(
  • catt - my o/h does that sometimes.it is very annoying if it's just the two of us and i've made an effort, and he just wants to go to the pub!he says it's my fault for giving him nice lunches.....
    :T:jHalf a stone off,only another 2 to go!:j:T

  • hi redmel - just wanted to say don't be too hard on yourself, keep your chin up,and DEFINATELY don't worry about the snotty wench that interviewed you:mad:!
if you're anything like me,you probably only notice when you've done/eaten something you shouldn't?and then hate yourself for it too?!WELL DON'T!try and remember to say 'well done' to yourself for all the GOOD things you do too:D.and i mean ANYTHING good.if you clean the loo particularly well, stand back and admire your handy work, pat yourself on the back and KEEP telling yourself how wonderful you are........EVEN IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE IT,keep saying it,thinking it and eventually it works.you look in the mirror and see POSITIVE things.i know it probably sounds a bit woolly:o:p but it really does work.and once you start feeling better about yourself, everything else seems better too.and you'll have the shiniest toilet bowl in england....:rotfl:

    lots of hugs,kelly. x

Thanks everyone who has sent me a pm.

Earlier DH said he just fancied some chips so was going to the chip shop. I said go ahead, I won't have any :A but then he decided that he didn't need any, so had a packet of crisps instead. I know an apple would have been better, but some of this healthy eating must be rubbing off ;)

HI Mel, I hate fake smiles! I always figure people like that aren't getting any, hence they aren't smiling ;) Whereas if nothing else I am loved and wanted.

The pasta sounds nice, and remember tomorrow is another day :D

Skint Katt, I'd imagine the seafood omlette should be ok. the Fishmonger told me the other day the stuff I was buying should be fine for a week if that helps. (it hasn't lasted that long. Crab salad tomorrow and then it's all gone!)

Has it already been frozen, if not pop it in the freezer until tomorrow!
