Well done Scroogey - 1.5 lbs is good. Does your class have one of those big yellow blobs of fat on display? Ours does & it weighs 2lbs which I find very inspiring actually! I've now lost SEVEN of those ... mainly from down my trousers!! I hold that thought and it keeps me going!:D
I have had a pair of M & S cropped trousers (black/white checked) for about 5 years ... they come out every summer and are some of my favourites. Last summer I was so upset because I filled them to capacity and there was no way I could be seen in public wearing them. I almost threw them out!:o This morning I found them screwed up (from my previous temper!) at the back of a cupboard and thought "I'll just TRY". I slid into them and they were roomy!!:j Then I tried on a tightish black top which I have been avoiding because I felt like an elephant in it and that was loose too. :j
Having said all that, has anyone noticed how the sizes STILL vary so much in shops? Wallis were always known for their generous sizes and I saw they had a sale on ... went in and :mad:the sizes were MEAN and I left empty-handed. Oh well, WI tonight!

Hi PennyLane, I haven't noticed the 2lb blobs so I don't think we do. Someone mentioned earlier in the thread that their Husband had put some stuff in a bag that weighed the same as she had lost so far, and they kept it in the kitchen as a reminder. I was thinking of doing that, certainly when I get an attack of the munchies it should be a good motivator to have fruit rather than crisps!:T
I am really pleased with my loss, just gutted I have to wait another week for my reward0 -

Hello!
I am really impressed by the ingenuity of that husband to think of putting items in a bag to show the amount of weight lost! That is a fabulous idea.
Will rush home after W.I and get hanging a bag - hopefully a "heavier" one!
Good luck PennyLane with your W.I tonight, hopefully we will both have a good loss.
This is only my 3rd WI, and I had the challenges of a BBQ - no idea how many syns..... but blew the budget!!
And a restaurant - but thought very carefully on the menu and saved all my syns in the day. So fingers and toes - even eye lashes crossed for tonight.
Why do I feel nervous.....February Grocery Challenge 262.50/250.00 - overspend - oh no!
March GC 0/300.00
Weight loss goal - lose 14 lbs by May 18th 2016 - so far 3 lbs lost0 -

Thanks
Serving size is 2 teaspoons or 10g I think

That is such a great idea. I find the weighing depressing too. I read once about tying a piece of cotton snugly around your waist and using that as a guide too.
I used to do that! I had a long bit of string and marked it off monthly, although kept referring to it every week. Sure enough, it kept going down and down! (I started off at 15 stone and got down to 11 on WW a few years ago!)
I haven't done that this time, but I did take my measurements after my first class so that I can measure again at club10 and at target!0 -
