Just drove back from SW like a mad thing to tell you all that I LOST 3.5 LBS!!:j :j I am chuffed to bits because I went away last week and have not felt well this week. Anyway .... total now 1 st 3.5 lbs in 11 weeks.
I actually feel more "into it" now than I did at the beginning. It's probably because I am never hungry and I don't feel I'm missing out on anything. I had to call in at a supermarket on way home and it is a great feeling to realise you are in control.
I came out with the teabags (I went in for) but I wandered around thinking "I can have anything I want to eat tonight" ..... I picked a punnet of strawberries!!) It's knowing that you can say "no" to the unhealthy stuff like chocs/biscs etc which is quite liberating really and also knowing that if you ARE desperate for something sweet you CAN have it ... you just syn it.0 -
Hi, I joined sw on tuesday & just found this forum- hope you dont mind me joining here! Im struggling already, its the evenings when my daughter has gone to bed and im all alone! There doesn't seem to be any good quick snack foods (apart from bananas, which are now coming out of my ears!) Does anyone have any advice? Thanks!0

i try to save my syns for evenings. I also keep hartleys sugar free jellies made up in the fridge, only half a syn, Mullerlights are good too0

I'm back at last. My OH is home and recovering from his 5-hour op:eek: I've had my hands full looking after him and Ruby and working so I haven't had time to catch up yet, but hope you are all ok.
My weight has crept up:rolleyes: so I must stop the rot before I put the whole stone back on. I try hard to be good but sometimes life just gets in the way. Back on the straight and narrow for me tomorrow.

Welcome back, glad everything went well with OH. Don't worry about putting some of the weight back on, you know you can soon lose it again.
We're on holiday next week, so I think I will probably put a few pounds back on, but I will still be a stone lighter than I was earlier in the year :j
Think I have put a pound on so far this week, I have been good during the day, but eating and drinking naughty things at nightI usually get weighed first thing in the morning, but this week I can't go until the evening, so will probably have a gain this week. Oh well ...

Don't beat yourselves up peps!!!
To deprive ourselves will only strenghten our resolve to do more "naughty" things....which we all love.
For me, I love a drink with me mates and my concession to myself, family and SW is that I will do 1 night a week max.....Because I can, I haven't been if you get my drift.
Been on hols the last 2 weeks and have had a gain last week and missed the meeting due to a prior appointment last nght.(Certain I would have gained this week too).
On late shifts for next 2 weeks so not attending then either, but remain determined and motivated to go back with a total loss of a stone by then. (Already at 1/2 stone).
But please do not beat yourselves up over missing days, or "blow outs"...As long as you get back on track I personaly don't see the harm in letting your hair down once in a while!
