Evening everyone!:D Welcome to the new SW's too.:T
I feel really bloated today for some reason. Not really looking forward to WI tomorrow night but it has to be done! It's a pathetic excuse I know but with this rotten cold I can't even be bothered to look in my SW books or plan anything. I don't think this weather helps either because it's SO changeable ... you don't know where you are from one day to next.
Moan over, off to bed with some Paracetemol and an Options drink (again!!).:o0 -

Then again i do have a lot of time on my hands and i know that if your working, especially full time it can be difficult.
thanks for the chuckle

thanks flossy, glad you enjoyed;) .the thing is i'm not working at the mo but thought i'd try them out now for when i am,the old planning ahead strategy.glad i did so i can give them to o/h for his lunch instead!:rotfl: we've just been doing some bonding over a hot oven actually, making moussaka.got a bit of meat sauce leftover so that'll be kept for a quick pasta/couscous/rice lunchbox treat for him.
i must say i think it makes a difference who you're cooking for, and how many people too, as to how much effort you feel inclined to make.and,of course,no matter how long you spend cooking,it's still gone in 60 seconds!well,my efforts are anyway.i suppose i should be flattered:rolleyes: ....:T:jHalf a stone off, only another 2 to go!:j:T:D;)Cats are truly evil, like women....;):D:p

Nice one Trishaa...well done for joining! Hope it goes well for you. Stick with it, I didn't believe it would work at first, but it seems to be doing so far!

Morning all
WI last night, put on 0.5lb. I had a 3lb weight loss last week so im not suprised, had felt i had put on a wee bit of timber! Im feeling really positive about this week like i really want to stick to the 'plan'. Would really quite like to get my club 10 next week so need to lose 1lb!
A definate incentive for me this next week is that so many people have commented this last week on how good i look and it is such a confidence boost. Looked at photos the other day from my 21st birthday in december and i look hiddeous, cant stand to look at them again!
Well done to losers and sts! xxxxTotal weight loss to date 18.5lbs! :j0 -

Tried WW but gave up after 3 weeks because of all the weighing etc. Been doing SW on my own for a week but refusing to weigh myself as I get depressed if I havn't lost weight or if I have gained. I measure by a pair of jeans getting looser or tighter.
That is such a great idea. I find the weighing depressing too. I read once about tying a piece of cotton snugly around your waist and using that as a guide too.Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01

Morning all!! Hope you're having a good week. Mines been a little bit crazy
Monday: Stressed out, MIL went into hospital ( Guys, London) to have op, really worried about her and what they will find
Tuesday: Even more stressed out, MIL op day.She went down for surgery at 10.20 am and didn't get back on ward until 8.30 pm, Frantic with worry but hospital refuses to give us any info over the phone, so we're imagining all sorts.
Wednesday: Stress levels through the roof. Travel up to London to visit MIL. (involves bus, train and 2 tube changes worrying all the way about what we'll find when we get there) Good news is that they think they've got rid of all the nasty stuff, I'm not typing the word ,(fingers crossed they're right) Myself and OH feel better for seeing her and, eventually, speaking to the doctor.
I haven't given food a thought and suddenly being overweight doesn't seem half as important anymore! When Life Throws You Lemons Make Lemonade0 -
Hi Lo_Bush have a virtual hug from me, hope your MIL gets better soon. Food would be the last thing on my mind had I been in your situation too.0

This weeks WI 1.5 pounds off. Pleased with that, although would have loved to have lost 2.5 to get my stone. Have persuaded OH to do some housework with just a pinny on when I've done the stone. So I'm itching to see that! However as I have a few stone to lose I'll need to think of a few more weird and wonderful "rewards" for each stone I lose. Was thinking of getting him to dress up as a fairy to do the ironing for the 2 stone mark. Any suggestions will be appreciated:rotfl:
KellyBigBoobs, I also tried the mugshots for the first time this week. I wasn't that impressed. It was ok but I can't say I'd rush out to have another one. Although I've got another 2 at work to try.
Anyway off to eat some SS foods as I'm gonna get my reward next week!:T0
