Just drove back from SW like a mad thing to tell you all that I LOST 3.5 LBS!!:j :j I am chuffed to bits because I went away last week and have not felt well this week. Anyway .... total now 1 st 3.5 lbs in 11 weeks.
I actually feel more "into it" now than I did at the beginning. It's probably because I am never hungry and I don't feel I'm missing out on anything. I had to call in at a supermarket on way home and it is a great feeling to realise you are in control.
Hi Pennylane!
I also lost last night, my third week and lost 3lbs! Got my first slimmer of the week and am well chuffed! Especially as I went to a BBQ and blew the budget and had to be extra good over the next couple of days with low syns and lots of Wii fit.
1st 3.5lbs in 11 weeks?!! Thats so good to hear - it inspires me to continue, to be honest this is so much easier than other plans I've tried - and boy I have tried a few!

March GC 0/300.00
Weight loss goal - lose 14 lbs by May 18th 2016 - so far 3 lbs lost0 -
Great - well done!
Stories like these keep me motivated.Attend SW Tuesdays =
Walk to station every day = :j
3 workouts per week = None :embarasse
Plan my meals weekly = Nope:eek:0 -
Well done to everybody on here, losers/STS/gainers, you never fail to inspire/amuse/motivate me. Well I had my WI last night and although I was really pleased to see another 2.5lb had disappeared with all the pressure and stress I've had this week. I must admit to being a little frustrated it wasn't 3lb because that would have taken me to a 2 stone loss in ten weeks ( Just plain greedy I guess)Still, on the plus side, I should be able to achieve that little 1/2 lb thats standing in my way relatively easily.................famous last words no doubt! When Life Throws You Lemons Make Lemonade0

Just a quickie to say thank you so much for all the support on here, it means a lot. I went and got weighed last night and lost 3.5 in 2 weeks (i missed class the week b4) so I was very pleased.
Well done to everyone just for sticking to this, we will all get there eventually0 -
IntheRed - so pleased you are enjoying it AND losing!:j There are people at my class who have lost 5 stones plus and people who have lost more than me in the same space of time but I am very pleased with how I'm going and I seem to be able to lose each week and still eat really well.
I was talking to a woman there last night and she hardly loses anything and when we got talking about recipes and so on, she admitted that she only likes things that come out of tins and packets. She was a bit low so I was trying to encourage her and telling her about some good recipes I'd tried since joining and she said "I've got every SW book that comes out and I don't think I've tried ONE recipe yet."  Now, I don't want anybody to think I am saying I am any better than her because I appreciate we are all different. What I do think though is that to go along every week and PAY to go and then NOT put in a bit of effort is a total waste of time and money.
I think one of the reasons people fail on any diet is often boredom. I can honestly say that with SW I find the recipes are so easy and tasty and satisfying that I never feel "deprived" or "bored".
Before I started SW my breakfast was usually 2 slices of toast and butter with maybe some honey or jam. Ocasionally a boiled egg. How boring is that really? Now I have cereal with fruit, grilled bacon & mushrooms and an egg or melon & strawberries. Sometimes even kippers and scrambled eggs. It is WAY more interesting you just have to spend a wee bit longer that's all!0 -
P.S. Well done to Foo fighter and Lo Bush and everyone else. :T :T0
