    Not gonna beat meself up...but.....
Messed up BIG time yesterday, had friends round for a BBQ, had loads of food and 5 pints to boot and that's me being good - LOL.
Problem is, my fathers Day pressie is a pizza delivery so I don't have to cook, and to treat me coz I no longer eat it...and ALL the family love it!
God, I am so full of it today aren't I?
Strugglng again this week after a good start, think I'm feeling the pressure a bit for an interview I have on Thursday? Normally I would have had a couple of fags to help, but they've been gone for a while now and don't want that habit back.
Gonna sit down and plan the rest of this weeks meals I think,
Thanks for letting me get this off my chest,
    Mark T

Mark - our consultant at SW always says "You have 21 meals in a week, don't let going overboard on ONE spoil the rest of the week." ;)

Just write off this weekend and get back to normal tomorrow. Maybe use less syns .... but DO NOT give up. You can do it if you want to, just like giving up the cigs. :T I did that a few years ago, so I know what a MASSIVE achievement it is. Adjusting what you eat is WAY nicer than giving up smoking though! Good luck with your interview & let us know how you get on.

Oh, and why not look at the SW site for extra encouragement.

    Hi everyone

Just had to post to say I made the Thai pork with lemongrass and chillies from the July SW mag today, and it was lovely! Definitely one for doing again.

Hope everyone's having a good weekend.

It would appear that my one nighht 'off' at the weekend (cocktails, obscene amount of wine, delicious restaurant meal hit more than the pocket..... I think I have quite a few lbs to pay for....

One thing is that I cannot make class this week (it will be my first missed class) as mum and dad are flying in from Spain, so I want to have a good loss by next week - gives me a few more days, but I am going to have to work hard to maintain the type of weekly loss I had last week (2lb).....

so, back with purpose, today is RED, not quite sure of the menu plan yet (I will get to the shops this morning, before lunch), but I do know that tea will involve fennel (got given two at the weekend  )

off to browse the cookbooks and write a menu plan for the week :A

    Hi Everyone,

Just back from a lovely weekend in Brighton - stayed at the Grand no less and it was fabulous. I was also very good while I was away, and am hopeful of getting both my Club 10 and 2 stone awards when I go to WI at 10 o'clock.

Good luck to everyone this week!

  • Morning all

weekend went as it usually does..with a crash! but if i can still be doing what im doing and losing the weight slowly then im happy im not missing out! the gay gym wear theme went down a treat and we all looked like absolute fools...but it was really funny! wish we could post photos on here! have also found a drink that i like that i can drink diet coke with so that is definately a turn up for the books...morgan spice and diet coke!

well done to everyone, i sympathise with all of you who have had slip ups this weekend but like peachy says...lots of water and ss foods usually helps me by the time i get to weigh in on a wednesday night! oh and hitting the gym so hard it only recovers at weekends when im too tipsy to go! hehe.

    keep up the good work!!
