I've now lost 28.5lb in 11 weeks and got my Club 10 sticker as well this morning.
Oh, and I won the Raffle too! This is definitely my week0 -
Hi all!
Im new here so apologies if i seem a bit thick;) I was doing sw in jan with my mum and lost a stone but mum stopped going in april so i did too?!? So, me and my sister have been doing it on our own for the last 3 weeks.
We're going to the dominican in 6 weeks so we saving money by doing it ourselves with my books and we joined the gym last week aswell!
I lost 1lb last thurs which i was sorely disappointed with but as everyone keeps telling me, it may be because i was killing it in the gym for 3 days:D
Have stuck to green days all week, had hardly any syns and even went the gym for hour and half yesterday lunchtime.
Hope you don't mind me joining and any advice is appreciated x x x0 -
Thanks Consultant for your link - I'm definitely going to try a few of those recipes. I'm such a fan of 'instant' foods tho, I can make food for the kids no problem but when it comes to snacking (which I tend to do every half hour!) then I need to just grab stuff.
Yes I agree I didn't put it on overnight, although I am absolutely appalled that the SL scales seem to be 10lbs over my own ones at home.
It's WI day this evening so I'll update you all on the progress, if I lose another half pound I'll get a sticker! My husband just laughs at the idea but I'm dead excited - ha ha.0 -
Hi everyone
I joined SW last Tuesday and will be having my 1st weigh in tomorrow.
Glad I have found this thread – it’s a great way to get ideas
I have found that I sometimes find lunches to bring to work a bit difficult on a red day. I don’t like brown bread only white so tend to use my healthy extras on cereal or something like that to get my fibre instead so sandwiches are kind of out of the question.
Any suggestions for packed lunches on a red day?One day Rodney we'll be millionaires£2020 in 2020 - Running Total £170 -

Morgan spice is rum...its sooo nice! be careful you dont get addicted! it goes down easier than vodka and i would say tastes nicer!

Hi again. Well this is my third day of trying SW again. I wasnt that good at work yesterday but better today as Im at home. But have just realised I have had 3 healthy bs today.
So will count the bread I had as a HB. I tend to have convenience foods sometimes like the noodles etc if Im at work. Always have porridge for breakfast with a banana. Wish I liked fruit more.
Do you think water helps? I do try to drink more its just remembering.
Tea tonight is SW chips and egg.
havent managed to get to the gym today as Im waiting for a parcel which hasnt come so will have to wait again tomorrow.
Well done to all those who have lost.0 -

hi boddy, yes water helps big time. im trying to drink as much as i can, i have a bottle with me at all times. I always did better on the plan when i was at work. but now im not working im trying really hard not to pick unless its free food. I think boredom is the worst for me. there is only so much housework you can do. And daytime tv is crap.
So im filling my days with applying for jobs, going thru old sw mags and getting good tips and words of encouragement from all you lovley people on here.
thanks to all of you

Howdy fellow skinnies and future skinnies!
It sounds like some of you had a blow-out weekend like me! I didn't do toooo badly food-wise but had about 2/3 a bottle of white wine on Friday night and Saturday had 4 G&STs and a a whole bottle of pink!*collapses in a heap on the floor* Luckily I wasn't as drunk as my very drunken friend, who fell over a lot!! *snigger* Managed to avoid the late-night munchies. Sunday was okay too, having a father's day bbq with my folks, but I did give in to a couple of chunks of fudge!!
WI is tuesday night. I've not had any syns today and plan not to tomorrow either. Lost 2½ last week and that was a surprise (1st week!) and I was aiming for 2 this week but I'm not very optimistic about that really. The start of the week was good so maybe it will balance out. Or maybe not!
Blimmin booze!!!!! I am going to have to be designated driver more often....
Anyhoo...good luck everyone. Keep it up!!!0
