afternoon,
can any of you experienced SW ladies point me in the right direction of what would be good to purchase re SW on ebay? there are a few listings, but as I am not up to speed with what are the 'necessities' like I am with WW, i don't want to be conned.
Thanks

Bu I heard a rumour on another SW discussion somewhere that doing more red does make people lose quicker. I am quite happy flitting between red and green but I just wondered if anyone had any stories to tell?

For the first 7/8 weeks I did a 50/50 mix of red and green. I lost 4.5lb total.
In the last 10 days I have stuck to red. After 7 days I had lost 2lb (official), my home scales suggest another 2lb since then. The weight seems to be dropping off right now. (yay!:j )
This is purely circumstantial, and may be due to other things of course. I am not willing to stick only on red, but splitting my week 5 red/2 green may be a way to go for me....0 -

IMHO the only thing you *really* need is the handbook. Clearly goes through the daily plans, all HE options and gives basic syns.
To get one though, you need to join. I am sure you said it would be hard for you to get to a class regularly - would it be impossible to get to a class ONCE? ie join up (£9.50 at the moment including your first meeting fee), get the bumph, buy a syns directory if you want one (£6.95) and never be seen again.......?
This option would be a lot cheaper than joining online, and probably cheaper than many of the ebay listings..... all in all.
This listing (not a recommendatoin, just the first I found) is what you would get when joining. Remember that it would cost you £9.50 if you can get to a class:

Thanks for that.
The problem is that the groups in my area are on midmorning (but i work) or evening and not awfully close (i don't drive) so that is where i am a bit stuck.
Thanks for the listing, and i will keep and eye out.0 -
Usually in the morning, I have beans or egg on toast with one large slice of wholemeal bread. However, while the weather has been warmer, I have been having 28g of Rice Krispies with a banana and milk.
I have just checked in the Food Directory, and the Rice Krispies are 5.5 syns for 28g - i thought they were a HEB  I've had a load of my syns before I've even left the houseYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -

I can't believe I have done that - I have been on this diet for 4 months, and never realised

Generally if the cereal is 'pale' then they'd be syns - Special K, rice crispies, cornflakes, cheerios etc as there's not enough fibre in them. At least you've realised now!0
