    Hi trishaa
I have three of the ones you mention:

curry feast - excellent. I posted a recipe on here somewhere for samosas from this book.

30 minute meals - again excellent - very family friendly (my 6 yr old enjoys the food from this one) in fact ate two of the dishes tonight for tea (citrus chicken and a salad similar to a wardolf with celery and apple)

four seasons - not as good as I had hoped - have yet to really find recipes that become must-do-agains

    hth

PS don't pay full price for any of these - (£16.99 each I think) I got them from amazon for about £10 each, and I am sure there will be other bargains about :)

    Hello all,

Anyway hope every1 is ok and doing well. I have lost another 3 and 1/4lb since I last was on here. Have a nice recipe for green. A pasta sauce, Slice and roast 3 red peppers at 20 for about 25 mins. Remove skins when cool. Fry 2 chopped garlic cloves in fry light for a couple of mins add a 400g of chopped toms, wait for bubbles then add peppers cook for a bit. Add a handful of basil and whiz in a blender. Return to stove and let it simmer for about 5 mins. Serve with cooked pasta and salad. Yummy!!!
    Lots to loose.....
first goal 2 stone (done) , Next target another 1st

    1 and 3/4 lb lost this week TOTAL: 31 and 1/4lb :j

    Hi everyone,

2lb off tonight :j . I'm getting there slowly but surely! Going on holday in a week though. Although I plan to try and not go mad, I don't intend to live on very low fat yoghurt!!! I fear a gain is inevitable.

Anyway, I have come up with my own weigh day strategy! As I get weighed at 6.30pm I try and minimise how much i put on in the day. Probably not necessary but we all must think about it I'm sure! This seems to work for me! Brekky - muller and fruit. Lunch small jacket and beans. about 4pm banana and plain yog. No more till after weigh! Then eat what you like (within the plan of course). Just enjoyed a huge portion of pasta and veggies in tomatoes with grated half fat cheese. mmmmmmmmmm.

I've got the 4 Seasons one, and it's pretty good, some nice stuff in there, and the Curry one is quite nice as well.

So many of you seem to be doing so well - congrats!

    Perhaps you could help me...

the past 10 days I've been on plan one day and off it the next.

I don't know why this is happening.

Maybe I'm confused bc I don't see much difference in myself from having lost 1st. It's almost like the 11lbs after the 1st have made no difference to my appereance. To be honest, I don't see much difference in the other members of my SW group either!

    Or maybe I think that I look OK - but i know i don't.

I'm just craving biscuits and chocolate. I'll be OK one day and stay within my syns but then I binge the next day.

I think the issue is that I feel deprived - even with 15 syns a day.

I just don't know what i'm doing anymore...

    Any help very much appreciated.

trishaa, the saucy secrets book is really nice too

had a good green day today - made a ratatouille type sauce on pasta and alittle bit of parmesan - yummy. I also did a faor bit of cycling so I'm hoping that might have boosted my metabolism a bit.

Does anyone have a recipe for smoked haddock? It was on offer in the supermarket and I do like a bit of fish!
