I don't know how much smoked haddock you have, but a lovely way to use it would be as a Kedgeree.
Green day, lots of rice, mild curried sauce, onions, peas, boiled eggs etc using 142g Haddock per person as a HeB....

This Sophie Grigson recipe looks like the sort of thing I would try.
Replace butter and oil with frylight (only used for frying onions).
0.5tbsp Curry paste = 1syn
With these changes, it is 1 syn for (they say 4-6portions, but 450g haddock would make 3 HeB portions)0 -
OMG!
i've just eaten a full tub of ben & jerry's ice cream, thats my syns for the week gone!!The only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about - Oscar Wilde:beer:

 OK all, syns question for you all...
I use a daily total (ie I am allowed up to 15 syns) use it or lose it.
I notice that some of you 'save up' syns..... fewer one day, more the next.
What do you all do, and how do you think it affects your weight loss?0 -
i save my syns, i use non (or very few) during the week
i like to have a curry on a friday night so save my syns for that & some drinks at the weekend, for me this works because i don't feel deprived and it gives me something to look forward to at the weekend if i'm good in the week and i don't feel like im on a 'diet'The only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about - Oscar Wilde:beer:

Me too, I have only been doing the diet a short while but I am enjoying it because I know I can have sins during the week but dont tend to have them and then save them up for wine at the week-end.
According to my consultant this approach works for some people, but not everybody. I guess its just a case of trying it out!
Good luck!0 -

you can eat as much free food as you like until you feel full, try to eat as many 'speed' and superspeed' foods in as you can as this will aid your weightloss even more
Thank you for answering my question. It does take some faith at first to believe it doesnt it!!!!0 -

I am still not quite believing it either! I've done one week so far and I can't quite get my head round it all. But I'm sticking with it. This many people can't be wrong!!!

Weight loss goal - lose 14 lbs by May 18th 2016 - so far 3 lbs lost0 -
Has anyone noticed better losses on original/green days/weeks? I seem to be doing mostly reds, just out of ease and convenience. Bu I heard a rumour on another SW discussion somewhere that doing more red does make people lose quicker. I am quite happy flitting between red and green but I just wondered if anyone had any stories to tell?

I have always done green, as I eat little meat anyway, an d have lost pretty well so far; I'm not dissatisfied with green, I guess I should do a few reds just to see if it makes a difference. But it definitely does make a difference to swap foods around and not let your system get used to the same things everyday. It'd be interesting to see what the others think.....0
