Hi everyone, I'm back from Cornwall - I was quite good, only half a cream tea and a bit of a pasty, (but we won't mention the fish and chips ...... )
Hard to get back on track though, got my w/i tonight. Found a bag of chocolate limes when I was clearing out, they are now history and can tempt me no more, and I have hidden the wrappers!
I so want to lose a stone before the end of the month and its getting nearer, will try to drink lots of water today. I found a recipe for lentil and tomato pasta sauce which I made and froze, had that yesterday with Quorn saus. Its free on green. And I found an old pack of Ryvita in the back of the cupboard from the last time (use by dated 06). Still tastes ok, so those with laughing Cow cheese spread.

I have Mullerlight, with porridge oats (Heb) stirred in and left to soak, for breakfast, it sounds awful, but tastes ok and fills me up:A .

When we go away, I have fish and chips, but take the batter off the fish and just have a few chips, that way I don't feel deprived.

I don't know about anyone else, but I feel loads better, just after losing a stone, and I have lots more energy. Plus all that bio yoghurt must be doing some good :D
You're only young once, but you can be immature forever :D
  • i just have the chips!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!i lurve chip shop chips.

POLLYSG - i have oats with muller or plain yogurt,i really like but i ate before SW so doesn't seem odd to me.try heating the oats in the micro with some milk for a minute then add the yogurt and some mixed berriessweetened if you prefer.it's lovely and really filling.and don't worry about having fun on your holiday, that's what they're for!!!

    Hi all,

Well done to all losers and maintainers.

Got my WI tonight, don't know how I will do as I haven't been that good.

Still the good news is I was right, my thyroid is playing up and she has upped the dose of thyroxine, so maybe, just maybe that will make a difference although I have only upped it since last Friday.

Anyhoo we will see what we will see.

Good luck to anyone else with their WI's today.

I'm trying to find out the Syn value - if any - of a variety of tins of mixed beans. I've found most of them but can't find:

ASDA - Oriental Style Bean Mix

    and

    WAITROSE - Mixed Bean Salad

I was *expecting* them to be free, but when I worked them out using the online Syns calculator the Asda ones came in at 19.5 Syns for the tin, and the Waitrose ones 23 Syns per tin. That's not right, surely?? They're just mixed beans in water!
