  • Hiya,

Yes I knew white rolls have to be sinned. I really really hate wholemeal rolls with a passion so I'm not qutie sure what I'm going to do there tbh!! LOL I work two jobs so don't have a huge amount of time to prepare lunches!! LOL

I've worked out that a level tbsp of light mayo is 1.5 syns and the rolls are 5.5 syns each.
  • tea tonight will be 4 delicious hm samosas (1 syn each - made from the sw curry book) a hm courgette, potato and pea curry served with rice - yum!

PEACHY - i can't believe you're anything less than perfect!especially now you've got super duper boobies!i wouldn't mind having mine hoiked up a couple of inches;) ,certainly don't need any implants or i would look like jordan! my real issue is with my stomach though.i've had 2 caesarians and frankly its REVOLTING:o .i've got a horrible saggy apron with a great big scar running underneath for a belly (not to mention the freddie kruger stretch marks from top to bottom:rolleyes: ) and no amount of crunches make any difference.nor does losing weight.i've been a size 10 and done the gym thing 3 tines a week just like you're supposed to and it made no difference to my tummy at all.I'd have a tummy tuck in the blink of an eye if i had the cash.it's quite funny really,i can even spot other women who have had c sections!thank god for big pants.....;) :rotfl:
kelly :A , have you thought about going to your doctors and seeing if you can get it done on the national health ?
My friend loss 6 stone and was so down and depressed about trying everything to get her tummy flat , but it was the lose skin that wouldn't go ,that got to her the most .
She went to her local doctor and just broke down crying she was that depressed bless her , he sent her to see speiclist at the local hospital and she had to waite 6 months , she got it done .
So think about seeing your local doctor kelly its worth a try hun , peachy x

    PM'ed you

    Well, I am DELIGHTED because I lost a whopping 7lb - yes, SEVEN - this week :j :j :j

Although to be fair, I did go in the evening last week instead of 10am because it was Bank holiday, and put on 1lb last week, so in reality I've lost 6lb over 2 weeks, but still very pleased. I only need 1lb to get my Club 10 and 1.5lb for 2 stone.

The person who got Slimmer of the Week "only" lost 1.5lb though   but she didnt stay for the meeting so I got the Goodie box. 2 oranges, 2 apples, 60p in loose change, a bag of Ryvita minis and a tin of pilchards in tomato sauce. And I'd put the pilchards in myself - won them last time I was SotW and can't stand them! They'll be going back next week :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

  • I hae woken up today feeling fat, frumpy and very depressed

i had my dd 3 months ago and i am suffering very badly with pnd

as a result i have blown up weight wise - i always use food to 'self-medicate'

i dont want my daughter to have a fat and unfit mum - as i really want to be a positive role model

i have therefore decided to dig out my slimming world books and start cutting back

i have just done a meal plan (and shopping) for 4 weeks so i wondered if anyone (if you have the time) could please check the syns for the following things:

    colmans packet mixes:
    beef casserole
    chicken fajitas
    chilli con carne
    sausage casserole

    tescos tortilla wraps

tescos spicy vegetable pasta sauce jar

thank you very much in advance

i am determined to do something about my weight once and for all :) - i have been with my oh for 2 years and my bad eating habits have rubbed off on him to the extent that he has went from a 32" waist to 38-40" - i don't want the same to happen to my dd

  • Hi all

Haven't been on here for a while so i have a lot to catch up on:confused:

Had WI this morning and have put on 3lb after finding out yesterday that our second attempt and fertility treatment hadn't worked..had a bit of pig out yesterday but am now back on track. I'm going on holiday a week tomorrow and i'd really like to shift the 3lbs so i'd really like some tips on good speed foods to munch on. i'll be doing a meal planner for the week and going shopping tomorrow so any ideas would be great. thankyou:beer:

thanks peachy:A ,i have thought about it but my sister put me off saying i'm being vain, what about the kids if it goes wrong and such like.not sure i could produce tears on demand either as although it certainly does get me down,i wouldn't say i was properly depressed about it (though i certainly have been in the past) and i'm worried the doc will just tell me to lose weight and do some sit ups - like everyone else who's never actually had the c sections themselves or seen the results!maybe when i get the extra weight off again i'll feel better?my oh thinks i'm some kind of goddess, bless him,but also has the same attitude as your hubby, get it done if it makes me happy.then,of course, i worry about the dangers and not being there for my kids over a stupid op,or what if something goes wrong and i end up looking even worse, you read the horror stories about surgery all the time, etc, etc, etc!!!maybe when the kids are older and i feel less guilty about being selfish.....
