Not sure what to have for dinner tonight, might have boil in bag fish in parsley sauce with potatoes HEB and veg OR I have some braised steak thingy cooked in sauce which is gorgeous so might have that (or both even :rotfl: ) feeling very hungry today for some reason ?
Might even have a glass of wine or two tonight as well, I know I shouldn't but hey, you do only live once

Hello everyone, hope you don't mind, but I am back again, I posted on the other thread last year but somehow lost my way..
I have seen a dietician and she put me on this high protein diet because hunger is my main problem with dieting and I stuck to it for 5 weeks and lost 6kg on it. But it is so restrictive and I miss my fruit and veg believe it or not. So I thought I'd come back to my slimming world way. I hate classes, been to too many of them over the years and just can't face going. Last time I bought the optimising book on ebay and it is great.
but I think I need the food directory as well.
When I was posting last year, someone mentioned this other support forum, but can't find it. On it there was a thread to buying slimming world books, does anyone know what I am on about? Or does anyone know where I can buy the new directory? I looked on ebay and there is one from 2006 but rather have the new one.
I love reading all your ideas and tips.. Yesterday I had a red day, today I am trying a green day, had beans on toast with egg and beans (bread being a HEb) tonight I am planning to have lots of homemade wedges, with left over beans and a salad.. Not sure about lunch yet..

the slimming world website will let you send off for a directory at cost plus p&p....
edit - they let you call up for one. they may ask you which group you belong to, so it may be worth checking first where your nearest class is

well I had my first WI this week and lost 2.5 lbs hurray! It works!!
I love reading about everyone elses progress and recipes - thanks!! I notice someone else mentioned being 'ahem - bunged up' on green - me too? Why do you think that is - all that veg - you would think it would be the opposite? I don't eat meat but do eat fish, so have had all green days. Any tips on solving the problem??!!
Can anyone give any idea about how many syns are in a takeaway veggie rogan josh for a green day - in the little book it just gives meat curries and a veg biriani (which I am not that keen on!)?
I did look at the password - but seem to have forgotton it - would someone pm it please - I would really appreciate it!
