Consultant31 - Thanks very much for your advice on the syns in the mousse. They all loved it. Prior to that we had the Liver & Bacon Strogonoff from the Red Free Foods book which was delicious with steamed broccoli and thinly sliced carrots. Doesn't seem like "diet" food at all.
I will definitely try the lemon curd thingy another night.0 -

Tobys_mummy - I was unaware that you could buy wholemeal ciabatta and as I replied to your pm, you would be better to contact SW direct to ask about this. The same applies to Panini (which to the best of my knowledge is made with white flour and oil and has a very small fibre content).
As I have said before, there has to be enough fibre for it to be used as a HEB.
how would i contact SW? i looked for an email address but couldn't find one. I've never seen wholemeal ciabatta or panini bread in the supermarket but I have had them before in restaurants.

Hi,
another question or two
What does everyone eat for brekky? I am used to a BIG bowl of crunchy nuts! Fruit and yoghurt doesn't feel very filling.
Also my Asda didn't have the laughing cow extra light triangles (sold out - too many slimming worlders?!) I got the small individual use tubs of philadelphia extra light. Could I use one or two of these instead as a HE? If so how many, and how do I work it out for future ref?
Finally!, the Weightwatchers Fromage Frais - can these count as free food? How do you work out what can be used as free (I understand Muller lights are free too - or are they a syn?).
Thanks a lot,

Morning all! Well my body finally decided to release a bit of weight this week! Three and a half pounds!!!!!! I was well chuffed but because of my past experience of one pound on, one pound off, maintain, etc. etc. I asked for it not to be read out, as a I am terrified it will all go on next week!
Thank you consultant 31 for your advice. Yes I will start to vary my diet - in fact it was only last week that I was trying the porridge for lunch routine and was using my 2 hebs so it was very filling.
I had a salad on Friday, with hb eggs and potatos and some of that spray on salad dressing.
Anyway that weight loss has inspired me to keep going now.:jGrocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01

Oh well done you:T:T:TReally pleased that your determination has paid off. There'll be no stopping you now xx:smileyheagpuss0 -
Hi all, just had a long read through the posts, there are some good losses, well done. The chatter and the banter is very inspiring. Do be brave and vary the diet, I am eating more - especially fibre rich in between meal snacks and I am still able to report a small weekly loss. Apples are my favourite fruit especially crispy juicy Braeburn. I also enjoy green tea.
Lots of walks, gardening and even housework keeps my metabolic rate up.
Bought some more new pants, and size 14 are a bit too large, I thought the sizes had changed but it was me. Funny how you don't notice the weight creeping on but when you lose it you do.
Be happy.
