I dont particularly want to eat what they suggest for students on this diet all the time, i like to cook and making some of these new recipies has been really good and i have really enjoyed them! I also do not have the fridge or freezer space to be able to batch cook a lot of meals so i find i tend to waste quite a bit! (2 freezer drawers for 5 people! ludicrous!)
I do symapthise studentsynner. Tried the diet myself when I was at uni and found it difficult due to money and booze! Anyway thought I would tell you a couple things that I did to help......
Freezer space..... any friends that don't cook even in other houses use theirs. Had a friend 3 doors down didn't even know they had a freezer so used theirs. Also had a house mate who didn't cook that would quite happily share mine and bung some money my way (not alot but as you say were going to waste it anyway).BUT!!! don't cook extra for them, just share if its too much for you. Otherwise you'll spend more
Booze I love whiskey and coke use to buy a pint of diet coke and a shot or double and put into this. Use to last a while and in the time people had bought 2 or 3 I was finishing mine and then if you want can always have some without any. Difficult in clubs tho.
But, remember its a chance in a lifetime and make sure you enjoy it and don't get too bogged down by diet, money etc There will be plenty of time afterwards for that.
PS if you exams at the mo good luckLots to loose.....
first goal 2 stone (done) , Next target another 1st
1 and 3/4 lb lost this week TOTAL: 31 and 1/4lb :j

Thanks Welshnutta, will look into the freezer space option! If clubs sold diet lemonade it would be fab. Mainly drink vodka but dont like it with diet coke! just have to go to the gym more to burn off the extra! Am starting to train for the great north run soon so hopefully that will help shed a few pounds! have found with the gym that i am starting to lose inches rather than pounds which tbh is an ultimate result, but the weight is taking a while longer! :eek:Total weight loss to date 18.5lbs! :j0 -

do you mix the muller lights with natural yoghurt or fromage frais? i find my goes rock solid with fromage frais but stays softer with natural yoghurt.0 -

Absolutely agree with this. It's the best time of your life, so enjoy it to the full. Don't miss out on any parties or trips to the pub, as it's all part of the experience. Ooh, I remember it well. I loved every minute;):smileyheagpuss0
