  • Hello all

It's so inspiring to read your story. I'm so glad you're here with us!
  • I lost 4lb this week :j . I forgot to ask for the password :o so please could someone send it to me. Our regular consultant is on holiday so another lady filled in for her. She was nice, but she confused me wehen she looked at my food diary sheet and said that you shouldn't eat a lot of fruit such as bananas and grapes because they contain a lot of sugar. However I thought that all fruits were free on both days. Are there any particular fruits that should be avoided?

Hi Emily, yes all fruit is free but some, like bananas, are not speed food or giver of other nutrients such as fibre. So the other consultant probably means that there a better fruits to choose to aid weight loss. I love bananas for the solidity of them but I always make sure I have speed or super speed fruits too.

(Keep up the good work. I have lost 7 stone 13.5. Have a look at the posts I have submitted tonight)

Well done h-gf! I have a lot to lose and it's great to hear from someone who's already done it. I bet you feel fantastic. :)

Well done to everyone who's had a loss this week. And for anyone who hasn't - don't give up!
  • Hi Everyone!

Well onto my second week and today had a green day. I had weetabix, banana, and a cuppa t for breakfast.

Lunch was a wholemeal sandwich with egg, cress and spring onion, followed with muller yog and fruit, with water.

Tea was Mushroom & Wine pasta n sauce, activia fat free yog. Water.

Snacks were fruit and a biscuit with cuppa t.

Tomorrow will be red. Totally mad as on my day off had planned to have a really good sess at the gym but I now have to wait in all day for a book delivery, gutted. Maybe still fit it in if they come early enough!

I did buy a very nice looking "fish-pie" mix from tesco, in the chiller fish section it was a selection of cubed free fish which I am looking to use tomorrow but not really a pie fan, any other idea's what I could make with it?

    Have a good one everyone!

hello , had a really good day today , went to lakeside and ikea , and had jacket potato with baked beans and a small amount of cheese .
resisted cakes in ikea , just had coffee, got home and made a lovely veggie curry , with parsnip carrot , green lentils , tomatoes and spinach ,
still got a bowl of forest fruits to eat

All fruits are free - this Consultant is wrong.

The difference between bananas & grapes and some other fruits is that they are a speed food, not a superspeed food. Nevertheless, they are free!

Redmel - the coriander and mint should be fresh.
I let my mind wander and it never came back!
