I would have said curly wurly aswell, because it is REAL chocolate and something to look forward to with a brew!
As for Quark, I strangely like it! I think a spoonful of this mixed in cous cous is gorgeous.... Am I strange??? ROTFL0 -
Thanks C31 for the recipe i will try to get a hold of some fresh mint and coriander if not i may just try and experiment with dried.......
gpuss, best thing to do is set yourself small goals, last year i knew i wanted to lose 4-4 1/2 stone in total and now i have lost one and a half stone, another 2 1/2 - 3 stone still seems such a long way off so i am going to aim for half a stone at a time.....i've got 2lbs till next goal then start again at 7lbs to go....and so it will go on like this until i reach target (whatever that may be)
The best feeling is when you get compliments off people, which can sometimes take a while so don't worry if no-one notices straight away. It took me to lose nearly a stone before anyone noticed...
I am going to be extra good this week as I really want to get that 2lb off so today I have planned
B - muesli + alpen light bar (2hebs)
L - baked potato and beans, loads of melon.
S - toffee muller over banana
D - not sure yet (off to go look in freezer)
Have a nice day veryone.

Welcome back to choccie, and to rialooney (which I meant to say yesterday
. Weighing every day can be soul destroying, as fluid in your body can fluctuate so much. Having said that I often do it myself (I can't resist sometimes:o). I think peachyest has the right idea.
Finally had the beef kofte last night on a bed of mashed cauliflower and it was delicious. OH wants to know when we are having it again:D Eggs, Morrisons free sausages, SW chips and beans tonight...
I must admit, I feel a bit overwhelmed with the amount of weight I have to lose. I was pleased with the 5lb loss in my first week, but couldn't help thinking it seems like a drop in the ocean. I know you have to take one step at a time, but I feel as if I have a mountain to climb:eek:Really glad of the support on here though.
Gpuss, honey you are not alone there but this is how I deal with it.
In an ideal world, off one of those weight-height charts, I ideally need to lose about 7 stone, to be in the "normal" range, to be honest sometimes I wonder where the 7 stone is, as I don't see myself to be that big and wear size 18's.
What I do is look at each weight loss as a step in the right direction, a bit more slimmer, a bit more fat off the old legs, I know I have only been doing the plan for a week but I have tried before too. I don't focus on that "normal" weight one bit, what I do is award myself a nice shiney star on my weight loss chart in the kitchen and seeing 6 of those already reminds me I'm doing the right thing.
I can't get to class due to work so I rely on this board and other things like SW magazine, website and other stuff to keep motivated. I am very much focused on hopefully the warmer months approaching and not being like a large big white lump of lard so I am acting now!
Good luck with your journey, I am here for the long haul, I also have a collection of medical issues aswell just to "test" me a bit more, but I am just taking one day at a time and that for me, is enough, you know where I am if you need a chat!0 -

[HI LITTLE SIS GOOD MORNING , WHAT YOU HAD TO EAT TODAY ? AND DONT FORGET( WATER).
Hi sis (Peacheyest). I have forgot my lunch and my purse as I was dumping the change out of it last night.... argh! However, found in desk drawer a alpen light bar, an apple, weetabix, shredded wheat, two mug shots (Sweet & Sour and Creamy Cheese). Jar of Piccallily, Three Batchelors Soupfulls which according to the slimming world website are 4 or 4.5 syns each. Tomatoe one is 4 according to the site when I typed in ingredients and when I called the syn line but if anyone know different let me know.

Thanks so much for your support Ballerinagirl, and to Catt and Peachey and everyone else, I really appreciate it. I had missed a page, so hadn't seen harrassed-gf's post about her incredible weight loss either. All this has inspired me and spurred me on. I think the idea to count it in pounds, rather than stones, and even to do a chart and add stars is a great idea. I can look at it each time I go in the kitchen and it'll keep me focused, as I'm not doing a class. Thanks all of you:T:T:T:T
Angela, you can use mashed cauliflower (I just do the florets) to replace rice in a curry on a red day, it really works (just mash a bit, so it has some texture), or to replace mashed potatoes any time;).:smileyheagpuss0 -

gpuss. I have a lot to lose too, but I can't think of it overall. I like getting my half stone awards.
I've lost 15lb so far, but I can't really see much of a difference. Last time I lost weight, i'd already lost 3 stone before people started to notice (that feels just great when they start to do that.) I notice little things like my feet are no longer swollen, and my jeans are still a bit tight around the waist, but they don't cut me in half anymore (I was raw!) All my clothes were tight to begin with, they're just not as tight as they were 3 weeks ago.
I can't wait until I can move down a size in jeans. Tried a pair last week but they were still a bit snug (and you saw my bum crack when I leant over- not a good look!)
Oh, and I don't have any overflow in my bra cups.I guess all my biggest clothes were getting too small, but I refused to buy bigger anymore.
I'm not painting a pretty picture here. :rotfl:0
