Someone (sorry forgotten who - goldfish memory) was worried about dried pasta - all dried pasta is free but if you're worried post EXACTLY what the dried pasta was and someone will check it on the website.

Those of you who have a choc craving, I keep a bar of dairy milk or galaxy then if I have a craving. I grate a frozen square on top of fruit and yogurt e.g. sliced banana with muller light yoghurt either banana or toffee flavour. My nutmeg grater is the best for it and really spreads the cube all over so you get choc with every mouthful.

Welcome back to choccie, and to rialooney (which I meant to say yesterday :). Weighing every day can be soul destroying, as fluid in your body can fluctuate so much. Having said that I often do it myself (I can't resist sometimes:o). I think peachyest has the right idea.

Finally had the beef kofte last night on a bed of mashed cauliflower and it was delicious. OH wants to know when we are having it again:D Eggs, Morrisons free sausages, SW chips and beans tonight...

I must admit, I feel a bit overwhelmed with the amount of weight I have to lose. I was pleased with the 5lb loss in my first week, but couldn't help thinking it seems like a drop in the ocean. I know you have to take one step at a time, but I feel as if I have a mountain to climb:eek:Really glad of the support on here though.

gpuss - sometimes my mountain feels huge too! (well it is but thats another story :rotfl:) - other times it feels doable! i don't often think of it in stones but break it down to lbs, so every one counts. eg - I have 47lbs to go to my first target so if I do 2lbs then its a nice round 45! Then two weeks 'should' take me to 40! It's easier (in theory!) for me anyway to see it like that!

    Hmmm choccie

Gpuss , 5lb in your first week is wonderful :T :T , and that was me when i first started s/w years ago i was 11st 4lb and now im 9st 7lb and it wasnt easy and your have a lot of up and downs , but your get there .
I never lost that amount of weight in a week , or the hole time ive done s/w , my best weight loss is 4lb , so dont be worrering about how long its going to take you , just think how good you are going to feel , when you start to see the difference in you and other people notice , as they say slowly ,slowly, catty monkey .
    YOUR GET THERE :D:D:D:D:D:D
  • Hi guys,
just a quick catch-up, I missed my weigh in yesterday as was at an interview, so getting my image therapy now off you lot! Money's a bit tight at the mo, so I was seriously considering stopping going to the meetings and doing it myself, but I find the group stuff really helpful. Might set myself a challenge to earn that 4.50 every week by ebaying or something, to stop myself feeling guilty about it.

My 'try something new' food this week is going to be quark, not sure I'm gonna like it but at least I'll know soon!
