Having a bad day at work - been in tears most of the morning but at least I haven't been picking! Green day today as Morrisons didn't have my free sausages in, so baked beans and egg for brekkie, coronation egg sarnie for lunch (HEB), pasta bake tonight with my other HEB I think.

Well done on all your weight-losses!

sorry to hear that. we are all here supporting you

    Blimey Harrased-gf! You've done brilliantly!!!

Is the only downside that you have to be careful when out walking so you don't slip down grids!

If I do half as well as you (or even a quarter) I'd be thrilled to bits!

  • Hi Starjumper

Thanks for that. I was amazed how easy it was. I had never tried any other diet plan other than trying to cut down myself.

The down side has been not fitting in my clothes (some of which i loved) not being able to afford new clothes, buying something that I only got to wear a couple of months before it got too big.

The upside was the compliments, oh those compliments, what an ego boost. The confidence to flirt with fellas. And being able to buy clothes in any shop.

I absolutely loads and if I am hungry there is always something to eat on the free foods

    my motto has always been

IF ITS FREE YOU CAN EAT IT. sport-smiley-001.gif

    Keep up the good work

    Ah frig.
Maintained for the third week running. Really annoyed as I've been extra good recently and felt like I had lost some but alas no. Maybe I should eat a pile of cream cakes and watch the weight fall off as often happens bizzarly. This food optimising thing is surely a form of voodoo.

Right, I'm off for a lettuce leaf and a sulk!

  • Evening all,
Had WI tonight & lost 1.5 pounds, 17.5 in all now. Quite chuffed, been really really good for 2 weeks now as i had been stuck yo-yoing up & down 3 or so pounds since crimbo. I think reading all of your messages & tips, writing down everything I eat and my increased determination to do this is paying off! Thank you all & im sure im not the only one who thinks this!!
    Keep up the good work!

I lost 4lb this week :j . I forgot to ask for the password :o so please could someone send it to me. Our regular consultant is on holiday so another lady filled in for her. She was nice, but she confused me wehen she looked at my food diary sheet and said that you shouldn't eat a lot of fruit such as bananas and grapes because they contain a lot of sugar. However I thought that all fruits were free on both days. Are there any particular fruits that should be avoided?
  • Hi

Thanks to all who have posted replies. I am so rubbish at this forum thingy. I can never find the thread again once i come out of the site. So if anyone can tell me an easy way to find my place in the thread then please do

I am not much of a cook and hate weighing and measuring things, however I have lots of very easy, filling and tasty meals that don't require much cooking or involve elaborate recipes.

My in food at the moment is butternut squash - speed food and free on both. I slice it up spray it with fry light and roast it. MMM lovely. Replaces potatoes on an Original day and is a great snack when feeling peckish. Sometimes i crumble my A choice cheese into it, sometimes I sprinkle herbs on it or just have it on its own.

I will post again tomorrow after weigh-in to see if I have reached my 8 stone loss target

    Good luck to you all.
