    Chilli

I only use 1oz mince - you can use quorn - no prob. Anyway peel and chop an onion (or two depending on size and your taste) and carefully dry fry with as much of your mince as you want. When that's cooking strain and wash tin of red kidney beans. Tip the red beans, a tin of chopped tomatoes and a tin of baked beans (all the same size tins - not those fiddly little things) and add as much chilli powder as you want. I tend to use the mild powder as I just guess the quantity to use. Keep cooking and stirring until all cooked together - about 10 minutes. I put my rice to cook whilst it's simmering along. It's too much for one day but the next day it's great with a jacket potato!

Hope this is of use. I don't have the magazine in question to see how that one is made.

    Good luck to you all.

    Morning

Weigh in this morning, and it's touch and go whether I have lost anything. Got on the scales this morning, and I may have lost 1 lb, but am sitting with a big mug of tea, so that might go back on by weigh in time.

Have to admit to a few slips this week, so it's no big deal that I haven't lost loads.

Emily, well done on maintining, at least it's not a gain

Lost 1/2 lb this week. Not very much  I was hoping for 2 lbs! I'm cheering up as a loss is a loss, although I am only 1/2 lb from my Club 10

Never mind, I am really settling into the plan now, you guys on here help so much, much better than class! Thanks for all the great recipes. I have tried the fab Scan Bran chocolate cake and I'm going to make the sausage rolls just now, for tomorrow's lunch box.

For all the newcomers, check out pages 99-100 for loads of great recipes!

    Good Morning All,

First of all congratulations beccabee that's one hell of a weight loss :) it's been a while since i've had one that big.

WI last night and i've lost another pound, bit less than the last 2 weeks but it brings me up to 7lb for the last 3 weeks, can't complain really i was moving house those 2 weeks before that so i just wasn't eating properly and more importantly i never really sat down for 2 weeks.

But anyway Red day again today

Breakfast - Bacon and mushroom omlette with Tesco light choice sausages and grilled tomatoes on the side

Lunch - Tuna steak, Jacket Potatoe and salad

Dinner - Gammon Steaks, Syn free chips, fried egg, maybee some pineapple and some veg
