Hello Consultant 31
I just wanted to check that if Im on a mix to match day, if I was to have unlimited jacket potatoes for my lunch with some heinz mean beanz italian (Which are free on green) can I then have some more potatoes for my tea (with my roast beef) as a HEB.
Re my lunch if I was to have the heinz curry beanz that are I think 1/2 syn on green per 100g - am I synning it correctly or should I be synning it as a red (even though Im having as a green meal) because I read somewhere that if you are on mix to match you count the highest syn.
I know that on my mix to match, I should snack on superfree / free foods but presumably I can use my syns for whatever I want - chocolate buttons, wine etc?
I've been out for most of the day and only just got back so I'm sorry, I'm sure you'll have eaten all your meals by now. However, it's fine to have more potatoes for your tea along with the roast beef, this would be regarded as a HEB.
Heinz curry beanz...........the ones I'm looking at in the food directory are Meanz Beanz :- Jalfrezi at 3 syns on Green and Tikka at 6 syns on Green (both per 390gm can). On Mix2Max everything you eat apart from your main meals that is not a superfree food or a HE has to be synned at the higher rate. This wouldn't apply since the beanz were part of your meal.
Finally, yes your syns are to be used on any yummy thing you like, so enjoy!I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Hi All
Have been eating quite a bit of fresh rhubarb recently as it seems to be on offer in many shops. From my FO book it is listed as free but when i look a little further ahead in the book to Dried, canned and cooked fruit it says 454g Rhubarb stewed is a HEB? I know no other way from eating Rhubarb except boiling (stewing??) it. Have i done wrong? Have i been eating rhubarb for the following week when i should have been putting it down as a HE?
Am so confused.
Many Thanks

Thankyou everyone for your Birthday wishes- it meant a lot!!
All is not lost. I had breakfast in bed- poached egg on toast. My bestest friends turned up at tea time with rump steak!! Had that with home made chips and a bottle of red!! They all had a walnut whip but I abstained and it looks like my cat has a slim chance of still being pregnant!! YAAAY Had an ace day, but back on track tomorrow....night god bless xxx0 -

Does that mean you can eat rhubarb raw then, like a stick of celery? Sorry never eaten it raw before?
Many Thanks
