SkintCatt, you may still have time before the WI to put things right. If not, don't worry, we all struggle when we're off our normal routine:rolleyes: You'l soon get back on track.

:rotfl: Hi, happy birthday Shanleypink (((hugs))) for the poorly kitty :(

I think i've been fairly good this weekend...although the scales will tell on Wed morning.
On the juice debate, Robinson's R no added sugar is FREE, so as i've got a 4L bottle in the cupboard  that's what I'll be drinking from now on instead of tea or coffee, diluted with warm water. :j

Was it Flateric who asked about the syns on mix to max? From my book, if the syn is part of a main meal, then you syn it for that choice either Original or Green.
If the syn is part of a snack, then they are synned to the highest (does that help).

I've been noticing some really good inspiring recipes on here, does anyone else think that it would help to have a separate SW recipes only thread, with the name in the title.
And, if anyone wonders why i thank (or try to thank) every post, it's so I know where I'm up to , as this thread seems to move sooooo fast. :o

There have been some fab weight losses posted on here today,....keep up the good work :T
And for the rest of you, hope to 'see' less of you next time :rotfl:

  • Hi everyone

Have just joined this thread, am having a great time catching up on all the posts on here. Thanx so much for all the pm's I've received, it's really great that there are so many nice and very helpful people here. Am hoping to lose 3 stone, tried last year but had a serious setback and am having surgery in three weeks, so am hoping to get cracking again. Wish me luck.

    Cheers

There is a link to a load of SW recipes (and WW too) from the Lose weight thread in the I wanna board. Maybe someone (a bit cleverer than me :D ) could tell us how to add them to this collection?

    Edit

    Found it here

You need to scroll down abit and it's the second bullet point.

Everyone here is really nice and supportive. I must admt I'm more of a reader than a poster, but it all helps :D

    Hi all,
Just booked my holiday....I fly to Rhodes on 3rd May!! Thats 7 weeks, 6 days and counting - I want to get at least 2 stone off by then, maybe even 2 and half.....joined the local gym and pool yesterday and am aiming to go every day, even for only half an hour!
I need help with food, I just have no inspiration....I have 3 old issues of SW magazine for some ideas but I need more....I prefer GREEN days during the week as I find it easier in work, but I get better results on ORIGINAL. I'm sure lots of us get stuck in a rut with our meals so can I ask for some suggestions please? A breakfast, lunch and dinner idea.....I dont mind cooking a complicated dish now and again, but just for the next few weeks Im looking more for quick and easy ideas......thanks slimmers, I appreciate it!!

    Hi trantr81

    2 - 2.5 stones in 8 weeks? That's quite some target!

I have just made the speedie veggie sausage hot pot from a SW issued a couple of months ago. I made a few alterations (surely the recipe is just a suggestion :rotfl: )

I browned some Quorn sausages and a diced onion in extra virgin olive oil (HEB), chucked in some squashed garlic (what's the word I'm looking for, lol). I then added this to a can of baked beans and a can of cannelloni beans and let it simmer for about 10 minutes.

Just finished a huge bowl with a jacket potato, and some grated cheddar (HEA).

    SCRUMMY!

(although I may not be able to move from my seat for a while :rotfl: )
