Lady V,
This is my upteenth time of doing slimming world, and its never come off as quick as it did the first time, i think the first time its so new to your body, that it makes a huge difference, on subsequent times its always slower.

Hi, this is my second time of SW and I got to target this time. I found it harder 2nd time because of changes I made 1st time and they stuck, i.e. I now have skimmed milk, very little butter (so therefore cut down on bread LOL) and muller/fat free yoghurts, and an uptake in fruit and veg. So when I re-joined, there was no big changes to make. It was my own home baking (ie cakes and pastries  ) that crept back in plus non SW puddings!
I've been at target for about 6 months but put on over Xmas and am struggling to get back on track!
Today I'm on a green so my plan is
Breakfast Porridge
snack Banana - carrot and swede sticks
Lunch Cous cous (Ainsly Harriet Roasted Veg-1 syn) + peas & corn
snack Apple/yoghurt
Tea Quorn Spaghetti bog made using Passata with onion and garlic + cheese allowance
Snacks Any other fruit/yoghurt
It may be easier tonight as I'm out at a meeting so no temptations at hand. So I'll have to be good and try my best till next week!
Well done on any losers/maintainers and good luck to nex wi! :T :T :T"It is always the best policy to speak the truth-unless, of course, you are an exceptionally good liar." - Jerome K Jerome0 -
I had my weigh-in this morning and I lost 1.5lb.
I didn't think I would have lost anything as i've felt bloated for the past couple of days (time of the month), so it was a nice surprise. I got my stone award today. I love getting the stickers! You'd think I was a child.

It is so nice to see you all being supportive to each other. :T
I recently decided not to bother going to class for the following reasons::mad:- Never had any contact with the consultant
- She couldn't recognise me or my freind in a line up
- She has not been supportive
- She doesn't know my name
- No before pictures of the consultant for inspiration
- There are no boards identifying food for green and red
- No recipe folders
- No cartons with syn value on to help you shop
- They wouldn't give me 1/2lb weight loss as they only recognise 1lbs!
So now I do it myself but still have the support of my sister Peachyest and those of you on this thread. Having made the decision I felt a lot better and lost 1 1/2 lb in my first week. I go to Boots and get weighed. Keep the little slip as my weigh in. It costs less than a £1 so I am saving £4 which I use to buy fruit, salad, jacket potatoe and nimble etc.
I find this suits me better. I started at 13 st 6.8lb 5 weeks ago. I am now 13 st 1.2lb.
Food Ideas
I love to make total greek Yogurt 0% with fresh passion fruit then use 2syns on a merguine either poured on top or crumbled in or Sugar Free Jelly with Raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, grapes in and eat it with some mullerlight yoghurt! :A
Green
Jacket Potatoes with Batchelors pasta in sauce (Cheese and Broc) poured over the top and loads of salad. Sometimes Ainsley Harriott Rice on the side.
Red
Tuna Steaks topped with fresh slices of lime and cracked black pepper on a bed of leeks wrapped in foil with loads of roasted veg e.g. leeks, carrots, courgettes, aspargus spears and a poached egg on to dip it all in!Starting weight: 13st 6lb 8 oz
Current Weight: 13st 4st 2oz :j

Day 6 of being extra good! Weigh in Wednesday morning.....
Feeling really pleased with myself as being extra careful this week.
Managed to get through whole weekend without a glass of wine.... prefer to use my sins for a two finger kit kat....
Also managed to get through whole weekend without nibbling on the two boxes of jaffa cakes hubby has in the cupboard.... (buy one get one free).
Have done complete original week this week so far.... ususally eat loads of baked potatos and SW Chips so decided to do something different.
Anyone any ideas for something nice to do with cod on a red day?
Trying to keep to speed foods this week as well as need to get back into target range.
Also how many of you weigh at home? I just can't stop myself each morning!
Well done all you losers! and the all day breakfast quiche is fantastic.... OH and DS have already asked for another!!!!!
Keep the recipes coming.....0 -
