Well Done loneR and gpuss those are both fantastic losses....
I think I am going have a big push this week although i blew my syns out the water last night, I will need to be extra good all week, I am going to aim max 5 syns per day and will promise to use the bike each day (maybe not today i'm a bit rough fromm last night)

npsmama there is a little book 100 delicious deserts I think it's called it says all deserts are 5 syns or less per erving, may be that would give you an idea.

Happy Birthday to me..._party_ Happy Birthday to me..._party_
Can I have a day off for my Birthday please guys? :D
Been good all week, went to a cat show yesterday...God, what a day. My Maine Coon threw up in the car... went psycho on my arm and proceeded to drool like the dog out of turner and hooch all the way home to Stoke from Wigan! I had lasagne and chips yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it- did give my Daughter half the lasagne which was a big step for me! Gets home with 2 rosettes to find another one of my Maine Coons had literally waited til the minute I got in to have a miscarriage. Was up, on and off til 4 this morning and am now feeling more than a little bit sorry for myself and do not want to beat myself up all day about what goes in my mouth aswell. Won't go stupid guys, but don't expect miracles at weigh in on Wednesday!!
Feel better already after getting all that off my chest!!:o

ooohh thats for those recs for sqaush , im sure i saw a recipe for chickpea felafels in the other slimming world thread , but do you think i can find it ???

    227g/8ozs dried chick peas
    1 onion, finely chopped
    2 garlic cloves, crushed
    1 level tsp ground cumin
    1 level tsp ground coriander
1 small red chilli, deseeded & finely chopped
    1 tblsp chopped fresh coriander
    2 tblsps chopped parsley
    ¼ tsp baking powder
salt & freshly ground black pepper
    Fry light for spraying

    1. Put the chick peas in a bowl and cover with plenty of cold water. Leave to soak for at least 48 hours. Drain and rinse well under cold running water in a colander.

    2. Put the drained chick peas in a food processor with the onion, garlic, cumin, coriander, chilli and herbs. Process to a thick smoth pur!e. Add the baking powder and seasoning and stir well. Transfer to a bowl and chill in the fridfge for an hour.

    3. Take small pieces of the mixture and form into little balls between your hands, then flatten slightly. Arrange these balls on a baking tray which has been sprayed with Frylight.

    4. Cook the falafel in a preheated hot oven at 220°C/425°F/Reg 7, for about 12 - 15 minutes until crisp and golden.

A bowl of very low fat natural yogurt flavoured with fresh mint and chopped chilli, makes a good dip for the falafel.

Sorry about the size of the font, cut and paste and I can't get it to change!!

I have pm'd you but the message was much the same as the info you've been given here by the others. Food Optimising is to make you slim and keep you slim for life, so, as you say, it's not a race, but a way of finding out what works for you so that in the end you are in control of your food intake.

I'm glad I finally made sense (I don't do it very often :D ) and the way you're eating the cake and the crisps sounds fine, so carry on enjoying them.

Well done Lonestar for the fantastic loss and to anyone else I've missed.

Green-day roast dinner today, with lots of veg, a mountain of roasties and a little bit of chicken.

    Hello Consultant 31
I just wanted to check that if Im on a mix to match day, if I was to have unlimited jacket potatoes for my lunch with some heinz mean beanz italian (Which are free on green) can I then have some more potatoes for my tea (with my roast beef) as a HEB.

Re my lunch if I was to have the heinz curry beanz that are I think 1/2 syn on green per 100g - am I synning it correctly or should I be synning it as a red (even though Im having as a green meal) because I read somewhere that if you are on mix to match you count the highest syn.

I know that on my mix to match, I should snack on superfree / free foods but presumably I can use my syns for whatever I want - chocolate buttons, wine etc?

Just been to Morrisons to do the urgent bit of my shopping as I can't get to Tescos until tomorrow night and they didn't have any Eat Smart free sausages  was really looking forward to a meat feast tonight :( Now I'll just have to find something else :(
Spent the weekend at the parents as OH away and I've been force fed birthday cake, chocolate cake, pizza...said no to as much as possible, but just can't have my meat for brekkie and dinner will be roast with everything  ....can't wait to get home and get back on track. Doesn't look good for weigh-in on Tuesday and I was doing so well
