Thanks dlb - maybe I need to get my tankini and things out tonight and try them on (I know I won't get into them for this holiday) and it might spur me on! I'll get the brochures out too!0

ah catt,it's horrible being on hols when you're not happy with yourself.buy some new things, wraps and stuff, primark if you've got 1 near you or other cheap shops, charity shops just to cheer yourself up.just cos you're bigger than you would like to be doesn't mean you can't have nice things.that was my mistake, punishing myself by squeezing into 14's cos i thought i'd actually lose weight like that and didn't deserve to look nice as i'd got so out of control.la la la.just made feel worse, eat chips and drink more!then bought 2 pairs of really cheap jeans that actually FIT me,feel much happier without a hairband holding my jeans together and my muffin top still poking out anyway!yuk!i used to think 'oh,i'm not gonna buy any clothes til i can get into 12's again' but if i never get to a size 12 again(or even a 14!) what's the use of that?!?just end up looking lumpy when i could look voluptuous.same goes for a decent fitting bra.moving and skint at the mo but as soon as i get some spare cash (i'm thinking ebay sales,DLB) then bravissimo here i come.god i love that shop, makes me feel all sexy and grown up!!!!:T:jHalf a stone off, only another 2 to go!:j:T
:D;)Cats are truly evil,like women....;):D:p

Thanks Kelly, not buying too much new stuff for Malta as I've got loads of my 'fat(ter)' clothes from France last year, but I want to see what I could get into when I ws at target last time so it spurs me on for Ireland in July (not that I'll be swimming there bbbrrrrr! LOL I've got some lovely work stuff too for when I'm at target - stuff that I hardly wore last time before I put it all back on again - I've still got a size 12 skirt with all teh tags on that I just couldn't quite do up - I willhang that bloody skirt where I can see it! :rotfl:
I'm keeping my HUGE jeans too (just the one pair) so that I can see how far I've come (I can't even wear a belt with them now! :rotfl:0 -
Hi all:hello:
Well having a good day really today, I didn't fancy the mug shot I took to work for lunch and controlled myself and bought a jacket potato and beans instead of a filled baguette.
God quorn chilli with rice and sw chips tonigh, can't wait till its ready cos i'm starving.
Skint-Catt.
Don't fell to bad, you've obviously come quite a way already, you can do it, When you pick something up to eat that you know you shouldn't be having, just think will you have actually enjoyed it afterward, I'm sure the answer will be no, so keep at it you can loose some more before Malta.
A few of you seems to be making shepherds pie, can you post the receipe please as its not something I would normally make and anything is worth a go.0 -
Evening all.
O the SW front it's been a confusing day - Strawberries and a croissant for breakfast (any idea of the sins in a croissant???) then we had lunch in a Thai restaurant - prawn salad (with dressing) followed by spicey chicken with coconut milk (didn't taste too creamy) and rice. The protions were quite small and I didn't have dessert so prob not too bad. Tonight I am going to have two glasses of a yummy white wine (in the fridge cooling):D , Welshnutta's asparagus soup and strawberries and raspberries. I also have a handful of prawns that should really be eaten today and a teeny tiny John Dory fillet left over from the kid's supper (may freeze that as a HEB on a green day). SO, not the best food optimising day but I don't feel as if I've been too naughty as there haven't been any fatty or sugary thing (unless you count the croissant!).
Kelly, Nessa and Shanleypink, as for the little eggs, they will still pop out and probably meander into the fallopian tubes but they just don't go anywhere and eventually get re absorbed. They're no bigger than a full stop so it's not problem for the body to just reabsorb them.
see you laterSaving to pay the tax man0 -
Just catching up.
Be very careful about the plastic containers that you put in the microwave, make sure that they are microwave safe.
Plastic contains chemicals which could possibly be a health concern if exposed to microwaves. Only plastic containers made for microwaves should be used.

Evening all,
Too true about the microwaveable tubs, you could make yourself poorly and we definitely don't want that to happen.
The doctor debate, Grrrrr you wait forever to see them and then end up being useless. They get paid sooooooooooo much money and if they don't care any more they should leave the profession.
Been good today....red
Porridge, banana and milk (HEB + HEA). Bacon, egg, grilled mushrooms and toms. Steak, SW chips (HEB) mushrooms and onions for dinner. Curly whirly as a snak (6.5 sins) Mmmmmmmm am I really on a diet????????

the choice is yours, you need to do what you will be more comfortable with. Make sure you stick to either a red or green day at first and once you get used to it then you could possibly attempt the mix to max.
