Morning everyone.
Here is my meal plan for the weekend, all GREEN days .
Today- Quorn fillet roast dinner, with roast sweet potatoes and mash, stuffing ball and 1 yorkshire (4 syns)
Sat- Cod fishcakes (2.5 syns each ) (recipie taken from this months SW mag) Served with mushy peas and SW chips.
Sun- Tuna Lasagna served with fresh greens (on offer at Tescos at min)
Lunches- Pasta quiche(free), Wholemeal crackerbreads and L/cow Triagles (HO a+b),Mug Shots and salads.
Also going to have a sunday moring `fry` up consisting of quorn sausages,musrooms,eggs,tomatoes and beans and bacon (HOb)

Trouble is - OH was out - I wouldn't have eaten all that in front of him if he had been there.
I'm on my own again tonight and worried that even though I've got a big free dinner planned and there are loads of free things I can have plus Alpen bars, Hi-Fi, French fries etc that I will find soemthing naughty - or even go out and buy it :eek: :mad:0 -

God don't talk to me about hormones, 2 weeks ago I put on 1 3/4lbs I put it down to star week although I hadn't actually started... Then last week i lost 2 1/4lbs....all good, means I lost what I had gained previous week and 1/2lb extra too. This week I feel worse than I did 2 weeks ago....but still..Nothing...
I have been like this for a couple of years now, but when I asked a doctor (male) about a year ago why this might be and will I return to a bit more normality he replied "I dunno" Hmmm doesn't inspire much faith does it...
Anyway........... I have been mega naughty this week, because of all this and now i think i'm coming down with a cold/flu....I have eaten 2 Magnum ice lollies 13 syns each.... and yesterday I ate 4 Jaffa cake mini rolls....I have also eaten many, many other Syns.
Thanks for the info about the quorn too, I will see if they are online for my Monday delivery.
Will go and have a read through the pages i haven't read yet!!!!

DLB Please can I have the recipe for pasta quiche,
I have decided I am going to do some batch cooking tomorrow for the freezer,
I will do my vegetable curry and my shepherds pie and my beef curry
I thought the quiche sounds quite nice maybe I could cook up a load an take into work for lunch - will it freeze???

I use tupperware or freezer bags - tupperware is easier as it goes straight into the microwave!0

GPUSS - yep,just get cheap ones from wilkos,the plastic takeaway style ones,if you know what i mean;) .i don't think you're supposed to re-use them but i always do and they wash up fine,if you can chuck em in the dishwasher with a plate on top to stop them turning upside down thats probably even better cos dishwashers basically sterilise things.unfortunately i'm doing mine by hand these days but not poisoned anyone yet!:D also marg tubs,anything that holds up to 500grams really.again they always seem ok in the micro.
NESSA - although i love cooking i rarely actually set a day aside especially for,just make double or even treble of what ever i'm making for dinner that night.portion it,label it,chuck it in the freezer,job done.then the same the next day and so on.i mean if you're chopping 1 onion for shepherd's pie may as well chop 2 or 3.better still blitz em in a food processor,seems to make saucier sauce somehow,think it probably breaks down the fibres more.
CATT - i know it's not very SW of me to say so but i think if you KNOW you're gonna be naughty i would give in but try to only eat a quarter or half of it.otherwise you'll crack far worse.try and syn it but if you can't(or lose count!) then just start again tomorrow.sometimes it really is the only way.feeling bad will only lead to more guilty eating.for example i love chip shop chips so when i get the craving i buy a regular portion and share them with the kids and bloke.sometimes what you want IS more important than what you need.though frankly what i think you want,and need,is a damn good ****!!!!!oops,do you think the moderator will tell me off?!? :rotfl::T:jHalf a stone off,only another 2 to go!:j:T:D;)Cats are truly evil,like women....;):D:p
