    Afternoon everybody:hello:

Nice to hear most of you are doing so well, it does help to keep my motivation going hearing it can be done.

I have weigh in later and not looking forward to it after last week, I feel bloated for some reason and really feel as I haven't lost anything after my hard work this week, I even tried shocking the system by have bacon and eggs for breakfast instead of cereal. I didn't really enjoy it and was hungry all day.

    Back to normal today,
    Brekkie - cereal, HEa,HEB
Lunch - mug shot, grapes and strawverries
Tea - rice,. peppers hm curry with sw chips - yummy cant wait until later.

Fingers crossed for everybody else who has wi, we can do it.
Got my fingers crossed for you hun , not that your need it ,were all send you good luck hugs :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: , peachy x

    Hello all

I am seriously considering joining Slimming World. I had a baby six months ago and despite breast feeding i'm struggling to loose the baby weight, though I think this is because I have got into bad habits and just eat quick easy things (bicuits, chocolate bars, great chunks of cheese).

Anyhow I have had an almighty kick up the bum, I'm meeting up with school friends i've not seen for 10 years in July, they're all slim and I know the cameras will be out, the last thing i want is to look huge next to them. Is Slimming World ok to do if you are breast feeding, and do people find it easy to follow? I've tried Weight watchers before, but all the counting and calculating gave me a head ache and made eating a real hassle so of course I just gave up...
beccabee hi hun :hello: , please don't be hard on yourself you've not long had a baby and it takes about a year for your body to how they say put everything back where it should be .
Having a little baby to look after is knackering , feeds and everything , just getting time for yourself ,sometimes is a laugh , housework and everything else .
So just set yourself little mini targets to get to and we will be here to help you , with idears ,recipes and here so you can ran't sometimes i think men miss out on what us women have , we have our mates to off load and give surport men just bottle it up .
Just remember little steps , theres no race , and this way your stick to it and will lose it , remember you've not long had a baby , not just put weight on , your friends wan't judge you there won't to see your alright and picture off the baby , i would if it was my mate :D , peachy x

Well, after 4 bad days and 3 good, I've maintained, so I'm happy with that. I've got my determined head on so I WILL LOSE this week. Don't get disheartened Nessa, hon, just stay with it:A.

    Thanks gpuss,

Why is it I am really pleased for you that you maintained, but really fed up that I did ??

I guess I am just being impatient, I just don't seem to be getting this right at all, don't know what I am doing wrong, I think I will have to go back to basics

weldone you on maintaining :T , don't be fed up hun , it will come off next week and sometimes going back to basics is what we all need to do , do stick to the diet 100% this week , drink lots of water or diet soda water , squash on top of tea or coffee , and superspeed as much as you can , you should have a fab weight loss next week , :grouphug: to cheer you up

    Been very good today

Three () fried eggs (free) on 2 slices of Nimble (HEB)
    Diet Coke(free)
    Mugshot(free)
    Packet of Savoury Rice (0.5syn)
Still got loads of fruit and yoghurt with me at work then off to Mum and Dads for dinner - don't kinow what I'm having but it'll be meat/fish and two veg with pots so should be ok! :j
Catt why don't you take in a wholemeal deli roll -h/b tescos do them 4 for59p and kram it full of quorn meat and salad on green or your cheese h/a and tom or pickle or onion, and crips yogurt , fruit ,lots of drinks .
Sometimes to much packet or tin foods can slow you down its the added salt n sugars in the food to perseve them that dose it , that what i was told at class once  , you can't beat fresh and thats what this diets about .
Try taking in cooked chicken fillets , all supermarkets do them and the tescos healthy choices are mainly free , i love the tikka , add to salad , or get the quorn ones and add to salad - check syns not sure on quorn tikka fillets  ,

  • skint_catt,re pill - they take you off them cos the do everything by database rather than experience these days.computer says no!!!!!i had to go through 3 different doctors to finally get a referal for a scan to prove i wasn't a lying,over-eating,paranoid,internet-searching,lazy,fat hypocondriac!   .surprise, surprise,i really did have something wrong with me which responded to treatment i finally received nearly a year and a half after i 1st consulted my doctor and surprise, surprise, ilost about a stone without even trying in the 3 months or so it took for my condition to improve.that was about 8 years ago now,i think they take more notice of PCOS and similar conditions now but back then it really was a struggle to get the treatment i needed.at that time i was restricting myself to 1200 calories and gaining weight regularly(not to mention the spots when i've always been complimented on my skin!,hairy face, terrible periods every 2 weeks or 2 months and constantly feeling depressed)and my doc suggested i go on a diet!!!!!!he clearly didn't believe a word i'd told him.i changed doctors within the surgery then changed surgery.finally doctor no:3 listened and i got the meds i needed.

i think you're right to stick it out a bit longer though if you've not been sticking to the plan 100%,give it a bit more time.i also agree with peachy, additives they shove in things really not good for weight loss or anything else really.no it's hard if you've only got a kettle at work though and you like hot dinners.salad never fills me up.i love it but i always need something else after it,preferably hot(ooh er missus)even in the summer!
    :T:jHalf a stone off,only another 2 to go!:j:T
    :p:D;)Cats are truly evil,like women....;):D:p

    What is a Mugshot?

Well, I had a good lunch, went to Wetherspoons with my Dad and the kiddlies, I had roast chicken with BBQ sauce, salad, 2 corn cobettes and coleslaw. Took the skin off the chicken and ate all the meat, didn't eat much of the sauce (although looking up BBQ sauce, 1tbsp is only 1/2 Syn and I doubt there was more than that on my entire plate), ate all the salad, none of the coleslaw and one bite of the corn before I realised it was swimming in butter (that one mouthful was gorgeous though!!!) so gave them to the kids. Just got home starving, so had a couple of Ryvita Goodness bars and will make myself a cheese omelette when the kids are in bed.
