Thanks for your reply Consultant 31 - I really love cheese and often take it instead of a dessert - the HE choices mean that I can have a couple of tasters of cheese for 'pudding' as well as a bit of meat - makes me very happy.

Today it's green for me and I had toast for breakfast with egg (HEB). So lunch is a stirfry with brown rice and egg and tonight we are having pork (HEB) with veg and some form of carbs.

Anybody got a good recipe for asparagus soup that doesn't involve buckets of cream???

Well, after 4 bad days and 3 good, I've maintained, so I'm happy with that. I've got my determined head on so I WILL LOSE this week. Don't get disheartened Nessa, hon, just stay with it:A.

    Thanks gpuss,

Why is it I am really pleased for you that you maintained, but really fed up that I did ??

I guess I am just being impatient, I just don't seem to be getting this right at all, don't know what I am doing wrong, I think I will have to go back to basics

Hi Nessa, We are always more critical of ourselves than others, and I deserved not to lose, as I was fairly bad. You must be doing something right as you've lost 9lbs:T and you've maintained your new slimmer size, so that's good:T. Sometimes you just hit a plateau and I'm sure it will register on the scales next week if you go for it 100%:j

Yeh I guess you are right GPUSS

I am just being impatient, I was really disappointed at my first WI as I had only lost 3 1/2 lbs, I wanted it to be a stone (stupid woman)

Still I will persevere, as I keep saying to myself if you can stop smoking after 37 years you can do this !!!!!!!!!!

That's a fabulous achievement and to be losing weight as well, you should be telling yourself what a star you are and how far you've come:T:T:T:T:T:T

    Nessa,

Look on the bright side, at least you didn't have a gain. If you have been good all week, it's probably water retention and you will have a loss next week.

I keep jumping on and off the scales, and it's amazing how you can put on a couple of pounds just by having a couple of cups of tea

I've been doing SW since the beginning of February now, and I know if I stick to it, it will work.

9 lbs is over 4 bags of sugar, so well done you :j

Have to say Nessa had the same thing STS for two weeks running didn't feel like I had been bad at all so was really fed up. This week I was an angel wrote everything (I mean everything) down and resisted beacuse I was determined and a WI yesterday and shiffted 3lb so can I suggest back to basics???? It was hard work but worth it to finally see the scales move, you can beat those scales too.

    Hope that helps
    Lots to loose.....
first goal 2 stone (done) , Next target another 1st

    1 and 3/4 lb lost this week TOTAL: 31 and 1/4lb :j

DO YOUR BEST......NO MORE, NO LESS.
