Just a little tip - Try adding plain water to the flavoured sparking mineral waters, I do in equal parts and it tastes fine, less to carry home, cheaper and maybe less chemicals too.

I'm impressed - I gave up baking about 5 years ago when I decided to join SW and I've never started again or I [strike]think[/strike] know I'd be like a house end.

What's your story then Consultant, if you don't mind me asking? Are you still losing or just maintaining? (sorry if I'm being too nosy and feel free to ignore if you want;)) It's great to have your expertise on here, anyway:T

  • oh dear skint-catt,you're not pregnant are you?i'm guessing not cos of the low jiggy count;) but it could be why you find it so hard to stick to your normal diet.actually,it sounds more like some kind of hormonal imbalance to me,have you ever thought that yourself?i have pcos and it really does play havoc with your appetite and cravings, just like being pregnant or on the wrong type of contraceptive!

i've just got back from lunch and shopping with a friend.ooooooooops:o seem to have eaten half of china!still had superfree omelette for brekkie and will stick to superfree tonight and done loads of walking too today so not feeling all that guilty.and i only had half a bottle of wine.....:p

on the subject of omelettes, why does SW insist on calling it a breakfast 'quiche' when it clearly isn't?! .omelettes are delicious, filling, easily portable and nutricious.surely that's enough selling points?!?

on the flavoured water/tonic/squash front,i have to say i try not to drink too much of these cos of all the nasties.i drink as much plain water as i can stomach, herb and fruit teas(fruit ones really nice with or without sweetener, try them if you haven't already) and 'treat' myself to a couple of glasses of fizz/squash everyday.remember also that regular tea and coffee are actually good for you in sensible amounts and all count towards your fluid intake:T
    :T:jHalf a stone off,only another 2 to go!:j:T
    :p:D;)Cats are truly evil,like women....;):D:p
    Was 11 st 5,now 10 st 7,would like to be....9 stone

    Hi all:wave:

Another good day yesterday. Had more sins than normal, as the chicken dish I bought from Morrisons wasn't in the book and it turned out to be higher than expected on the syn calculator. I always have my kitkat, but I don't use many of my syns, so I can have a treat meal and a drink at the weekend.

Feeling much more positive and determined now. I wi tomorrow and not expecting a good result as 2 good days out of 7 is not brilliant, but I WILL get there. Have a pile of size 18s I'm waiting to actually get *in* to, so it'll be a while before I reach my target, but at least I've started the journey.

Peachey, Ruby is waving her big pink bandage and sends a big kiss to you:kisses3: You, especially, have kept me going in the last couple of weeks:T I'm glad you are giving yourself a treat xx
gpuss:A , and little old ruby:kisses2: , gpuss you will get there hun , keep going and your see , it will take alittle time but you don't won't quick fixes as the weight will back go on quicker and more afterwards .
Ive lost my weight 10 years ago and got to target, and until last year i put on after having a full boob job with lift , witch knocked me on my back for a while , ive now lost the 10lb i put on and i'm back to target , my boobs are great:j :j :j , and thats why i swear by the diet , and i know you will get there , because it dose work , peachy x

It did cross my mind but I'm guessing not - just a bizzare craving moment! Oooh hormonal imbalance - I've just changed my pill as the new Dr I went to refused to give me a repeat prescription of my usual one because of my weight/BMI   :rolleyes:

    - :oThank you!

I joined SW after seeing the photos from my elder daughter's wedding (oh, the shame!). Over seven months I lost 4 st 2lbs and was approached to become a Consultant.

I started my group just under 4 years ago, during which time I have put some of my weight back on. It's strange (and apparently very common) how, once you've got other people to worry about, your own weight problem gets pushed on one side.

I am in the process of getting back to target, which I think, helps me to empathise with struggling members, but I'll get there.....as we all will if we follow the plan 100% (my favourite saying in group).

So there you have it - I could kick myself for allowing the weight to creep back, but, like everyone else, I'm only human and make mistakes, but this one can (and will) be put right!
I let my mind wander and it never came back!
