Although I think I've been good, I have no motivation at all at the mo. I desperately need to lose another 3 stone, but my desire has wained somewhat! Event he thought of OH proposing once I'm slim doesn't get me going!
What can I do?0 -
Hi all:wave:
Another good day yesterday. Had more sins than normal, as the chicken dish I bought from Morrisons wasn't in the book and it turned out to be higher than expected on the syn calculator. I always have my kitkat, but I don't use many of my syns, so I can have a treat meal and a drink at the weekend.
Feeling much more positive and determined now. I wi tomorrow and not expecting a good result as 2 good days out of 7 is not brilliant, but I WILL get there. Have a pile of size 18s I'm waiting to actually get *in* to, so it'll be a while before I reach my target, but at least I've started the journey.
Peachey, Ruby is waving her big pink bandage and sends a big kiss to you:kisses3: You, especially, have kept me going in the last couple of weeks:T I'm glad you are giving yourself a treat xx:smileyheagpuss0 -

Do you have to lose weight for him to propose? You have to want this for you, not for anyone else, Catt. Think of what you yourself want out of it. You'll feel fitter, less tired, enjoy some new sexier clothes and feel more confident and happy on holidays. Think of how far you've come already. Imagine carrying around all those 2lb bags of sugar. Come on Catt, mate. You can do it, I know you can :jwe're all in it with you every step of the way xxx:smileyheagpuss0 -
morning all, just a quick question, is drinking plain fizzy water, like you buy in bottles in supermarket, as helpful as drinking plain water, as i'm getting bored of it?
having a green day today, and trying to save some sys for the weekend, as its my twin sons 13th birthday on saturday, plus we are going out for the day on sun. staying off the alcohol too, which seems to be helping, as alcoholic drinks, usually end up with me eating crisps etc
wel done everybody we can do itenjoy life, we only get one chance at it:)0 -
Morning.
Well done everyoe that WI today!!
Shazrobo i drink lots of soda water, tonic water and flavoured water makes a change from plain old water!!
Well iv just made another quorn shep pie, 1 bag of quorn mince when mixed with garden peas, sweetcorn, onions and baked beans makes enough filling for a huge pie(at least 3 huge searvings) plus a bowl full left to have as a jacket topping next time i have a green day. Iv done swede topping this time instead of potaoe swede mix, as i have a new found love of swedes!!!! Also having roast celeriac with it yummy!
Keep going everyone, we can do this!!Proud to be DEBT FREE AT LAST0 -
Thanks Gpuss. No I'm not doing it for him, but I know when I hit target he'll be so happy for me (he's promised to take me to Las Vegas/New York when I hit target but then he talked about combining it with a honeymoon
)
Its just that not even the thought of that (which I want more than anything in the world) will spur me on. So mad at myself! I drink loads, buy all the yoghurts etc, but don't feel like any of it. I'm bored of mugshots, but don't have a lot of time to prepare anything too fancy for work lunches so I'm always dying to go out and buy a baguette from the sarnie shop (though I've resisted recently).0 -

Shaz, as long as it's on the free list, you can drink anything you like. I don't like plain water unless I'm really thirsty. I like Robinsons Fruit and Barley. The strawberry and kiwi is lovely, as is the summer fruits and just tried the pink grapefruit and that is yummy too. I also have some low calorie Indian tonic with lemon (Peachey's favourite). Just keep drinking loads, as it seems to help the weight loss xxx:smileyheagpuss0 -
I'm drinking the strawberry and kiwi at the moment - it tastes like yummy bubble gum! :j0

Sounds like you're bored of eating the same things and need to shake it up a bit. Could you take a box of your favourite salad stuff and box of meat or cheese and wholemeal bread, some low fat mayo, or whatever you fancy, and make up a lovely sarnie yourself to satisfy your craving for the shop-bought sarnies. Sometimes if that's what you want, only that will do.
I'm the same, if I eat the same stuff all the time, I begin to hate it. I know it's hard when you have to take lunch to work though. Hopefully some others will have more ideas, but I would try to satisfy what you really fancy, and leave off the mug-shots for a bit.
Come and talk to us if you feel yourself wavering
hope that helps, hon xxx:smileyheagpuss0
