Hi all,
I’m afraid I have been hiding in the shadows for a bit and reading this thread. Think your all brilliant and very determined. Hoping that you will let me join in. I started SW healthy eating plan on the 31/01/08 and have lost 16lb to date want to loose lots but aiming for 2 stone to start with. Have done SW once before (approx 7 years) couldn’t really afford it as I was a student at the time, so gave up quickly.
Had a lovely baby boy 6 months ago and quite quickly got my figure back. Unfortunately, it was my figure rather than Kate Moss’s! It was a complicated birth and I’m sure that some of that was down to my weight. So if there is a number 2 don’t want to go through all that again.
I really want to be around to see my son grow up and run around after him and not get tired or have to sit down because I am out of breath. So I am determined this is it!!!
I don’t belong to a group as I am on maternity leave (8 weeks left, yikes!) and can’t afford it. So trying to do it with old bits and pieces and magazines and tips from here. Thanks for the Alpen lights and mug shots both of which have been life savers.
That’s me really, sorry to have bored you and if you're still awake after reading this I’m hoping you will still let me join in.
ThanksLots to loose.....
first goal 2 stone (done) , Next target another 1st

Morning all, let's get rid of some more of our blubber today. Eat wise and keep active. I am tugging at my tummy muscles whilst I type!
Have the bottles of fluid at the ready and walk wherever possible, avoid the escalators and lifts too. Put a bounce in our steps to raise our metabolic rate and wear a smile.
Be positive and happy we are all in this together ................. we can do it.:j just keep in your head the tune to - If you're happy and you know it clap your hands :T , all together now.
Have a brilliant day.

Well, after losing 2 lbs at weigh in yesterday, I was really good all day. I didn't even have a glass of wine last night, and the only syns I had were 6 Maltesers which I counted as 3 syns. :A
Got on the scales this morning, and had put on 3/4 lb, so it just goes to show how your weight can go up for no apparent reason.
Oh well, I'm sure it will be gone again tomorrow.
Green day today, so rice or pasta for lunch, and jacket potato and sausage casserole for dinner. They are 'real' sausages, so will only have 1 and will syn it.
Have a good day everyone xYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -

Hi all,
Hoping you experts can help!
It is office tradition to bring in cakes, biscuits etc when it is your birthday, but practically the whole office (apart from me!) is on slimming world. Not bringing in something or bringing in fruit has been deemed unacceptable!
Please can you recommend low sin ready made goodies or some easy low sin recipes that would keep everyone happy?0 -

Morning Peachy
Glad to hear you are going to treat yourself. I can't wait until I can go into a shop and buy a 'normal' size pair of jeans :j
I am desparately trying to lose weight in time for my sons wedding in September, and would love to be a size 12-14 by then. I was about an 18 when I started, but haven't bought any new clothes as I'm hoping they will soon be too big
Green day today, beans on toast HEB, savoury rice for lunch and jacket potato and sausage casserole later. No wine last night, but might treat myself to a glass tonight whilst watching the Apprentice.
