    HI everyone

Been to weigh in, check my signature - yes I have lost the 2 lbs I put on whilst on holiday :j

Really going to knuckle down this week - I have been losing weight, but go way over on my syns at night, so going to really cut down on the wine and snacks as I am aiming for my 1 stone.

As I said in the meeting this morning, 10 lbs doesn't sound that much (I know, try carrying around 5 bags of sugar), but 1 stone sounds much better.

Just had a Bartchelors pasta meal for lunch (one of the free ones), and am going to make the Chicken Shahi Murgh out of the curry book - anyone know how many syns it is on green
    weldone :T :T :T :T :T :T :T :T , go girl , this weeks mission more water

sorry dlb, but i was told this in class , things must have changed , ive just found it in my food optimising book in the red b, choices under cereals hot tip , still makes me uneasy , see thats why this threads so good , we all learn new things :T

I justed checked online to be sure (cant be to careful) and the tesco value muesil is only 4.5 syns for 28g, where as the jordans as show in book is 5 syns, so Tescos value is actually a better lower syn value HOB!!! Or thats my thinking anyway lol.

  • well done charlie's mum,i find it really encouraging when people have a bad week or two then get back on track.just shows we're all human, allowed to slip up,but if you're determined to do it then you can even after a setback-or easter as it's also known!:A

just been to waitrose, looking for v.l.f fromage frais and came upon weightwatchers half-fat sour cream, works out at 1 syn per tbsp which i think is well worth it cos i lurve the stuff:j :j :j :j .not sure which other stores stock it yet as said introductary offer on the price.they also do cloudy ruby grapefruit fizzy stuff which i've had before and is lovely and syn free.it's not too grapefruity, even my fussy 10 year old likes it!

only went in there for some frylight which they didn't have, neither did my local co-op or iceland! must be some kind of conspiracy.....boo hiss,i wanted SW chips tonight.maybe i'll use a tsp of oil and syn them that way:T
    :T:jHalf a stone off,only another 2 to go!:j:T

  • peachy,i think the reason for this is the same as the couscous cake and lasagne crisps, people will just go over top otherwise.popcorn's far far far too easy to eat to much of.though 28g is probably plenty as a tv snack,i mean it's mostly air really, like cheap ice cream!;)

I tend to get the munchies this time of day. Kids are fed, hubby isnt home until between 7 and 8 so I dont have my dinner until then.

This is the time I used to be reaaaaaaly baaaaaaad and eat biscuits and chocolate but I'm eating fruit now. Just had a nectarine, a red pear (my favourite) and a couple of Laughing cow light triangles as I've not had any HEAs yet today

  • my fella and i have decided to ban ALL alcohol from the house from now on for a variety of reasons,£'s,lbs and to be caring towards our liver!

popcorn, outrageous, that's how i felt about avocado!!!!i'm being very good at the mo,got my SW mojo right back.had massive free green cooked breakfast(quorn sausages/beans/mushs/toms/2 poached eggs-i did say massive!) with heb toast then HM veg curry, lentils, rice and cucumber yogurt for lunch, about to have apple and orange and having SW cheesy (hea) chips (1tsp oil-no frylight so 2syns:mad: ) with heb 'fried' chicken (non stick pan,ALL fat removed prior to heating) and steamed veg.dunno what to do with unused syns, maybe lemon sorbet in a glass of grapefruit fizz, sort of really fruity ice cream soda.also made a big omelette with leftover brekkie stuff, free on both, will prob give half to bloke for lunchbox tomorrow and i'll have a neutral brekkie ready with no thought or effort then.

GOSH,this not drinking at home thing has really cleared my head!!!!!!:rotfl:

Have got my roast in the oven - it's chicken but as I'm on a green day (finishing off last night's macaroni cheese for lunch) I shall use the meat as a HEB and have plenty of potatoes and parsnips. Got some lovely strawberies and raspberries for dessert too - see, I'm trying to superspeed. Have been good today so far!
