    Mornin all:wave:

Had a proper green day yesterday, no cheating, but ate loads and I'm a pound down on the scales this morning, so it's working already. Decided to update my signature as playing catch-up is making me feel negative and I want to make a fresh start.

So glad you're ok, choccie, big hugs from me:grouphug: and so sorry for your troubles, bringmeshoes, a hug for you also:grouphug:

Wow, everyone is doing really well. I'm really chuffed for you all and seeing all the success and determination is a great motivation, as well as having Consultant Peachey, who is a star:A.

Coco, me and my other half each have a 2-finger Kitkat every night with a nice cuppa. They are 5.5 syns and well worth it, I think.

  • Actually i don't!i've decided all those annoying guru type persons that tell you not to weigh yourself everyday might be right, trouble is,it's a habit now.i do it without realising, sometimes can't even remember what they said.get up,have a wee,get on scales.still, have managed to stop smoking so surely i'll be down to every other day home weigh-ins soon if i really try.that's how i did it with smoking, just kept buying less, taking less out with, only smoking at certain times/places,stuff like that.
ALSO,does anyone else think it's unfair that you have to syn avocados?!?random question,i know, but i think they should be a heb option as although relatively high in cals and fat,it's essential fatty acids, which actually help you lose weight in the same way as olive oil, nuts and seeds which you can have as a heb:confused: .it really does make no sense to me,most cheese, cheddar for example, has far more cals and fat and it's saturated fat!:confused: and,as gillian mckeith says 'no-one ever got fat eating too many avocados' though i bet a fair few have gained a few cheese pounds in they're time!i definately find it hard to resist a cheese board!!!
sorry about rant but really love avocados and they really are SOOOOOO good for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:A :A :A
    :T:jHalf a stone off,only another 2 to go!:j:T

  • COCO you could try buying fun size bars and leaving them with a neighbour/friend/family?that way you'd know you had something if you got desperate but wouldn't have the temptation to close to overdo it.not sure how many syns they are but not too many i don't think.chocolate's not really my thang.i would recommend leaving them with someone who doesn't have a sweet tooth.maybe someone who prefers avocados....! :rotfl:
