Also hormonal, but never mind have been really back on plan since Sunday and today had left over pasta with asda veggie meatballs for lunch (3 syns including the bit of dolmio and lots of passata) then came home after class really fed up and had quorn burgers x2 (1 syn) 2 brown baps (2HEBs) and Dairylea light cheese slices melted on top (1HEA) along with a mound of syn free chips! As I said fed up, time of the month but not going to blow it! i've had 2 HUGE shocks in the past 2 days
yesterday found out my 18 year old niece is 5 mths pregnant
today found someone got hold of my card details and spent £237 at amazon
do you think that the chocolate i have eaten can have the syns taken away as it was purely medicinal to help me with the shock

I think drinking plenty of water really helps, I did this last week (well from about thurs) and although I was relatively good on plan, I could of been better. I think it is only the water that helped me lose.
I am also interested in the mix and match, I just don't understand it.....but then again I best wait until I have got the hang of red days before I try mixing. I keep forgetting i'm on red or forget what HE's i've had, so have too many etc..
Good luck with drinking for this week......
Peachy do we have a target for this week maybe everyone trying to drink loads of water should be it!!!!!

I got my first thing off freecycle yesterday, I have never been quick enough or on at the right time, I got a treadmill, just what I need , it is really hard work as it is a manual one but it will do the job.
I made a really nice cake tonight , my consultant put it on our forum, it tastes like dark chocolate, cut it into 9 peices and each finger is only 1 syn each, I used a silicone loaf tin I got in Aldi a few weeks and it just peels off it. I used slightly less sweetner too.You can get Scan Bran in Holland and Barrett it is awful but in a cake it is really good
Low-Syn chocolate cake
Syns for the whole cake:
9 yummy Syns or 6½ Syns + 1 Healthy Extra ‘b’ choice
You will need:
5 Scan Bran
3 beaten eggs
1 level tbsp golden syrup
1oz cocoa powder
½ mug sweetener
Method:
Soak the Scan Bran in boiling water to soften. Then drain and mash.
Mix all the ingredients together and pour into a microwavable bowl.
Microwave on high for 7 minutes. When cooked the cake will be springy to the touch and will have pulled away from the side.
For a free topping, pile with (defrosted) frozen forest fruits or, for extra Syns, top with chocolate spread.0
