    Hello All!

I am feeling very happy with my WI this evening! I maintained! Yipee! After a weekend of not following the plans at all, I am really chuffed! :rotfl:

I have been good today though and stuck to free foods (Green day today)... Lots of jackets and beans, although I'm not sure I'll smell to nice later! Hehe!

How has everyone elses day been? Any good tips?

I am going to try and up my intake of water this week and see how that affects my weight loss... Someone at my class has done this already this week and managed to lost 4.5lbs which is amazing!

Also, does anyone do the Mix 2 Match plan? And what do you think of it??

Well done to everyone on here! You are a real inspriation (in particular Peachy! I notice you keep everyone going and are our "consultant" here! So thanks to you as well! :T)

    Keep it up chums!

It's turning out to be a good evening for everyone isn't it - well done. Thanks Peachy for your encouragement - I do tend to guess the sins a bit (or sometimes forget a few of them:rolleyes: ). Just still getting into the swing of it all.
The recipes look great but I can't get mullerlite or quorn or quark here. What's special about mullerlite - do you think I could replace it with another very low fat yoghurt brand (I can get 0% vanilla but it's danone I think). And does quark have a substitute:confused: ?

Quark is the substitute - for mayo, dairlea, cheese and many other things :rotfl:

LOL, ah well, perhaps I'll find it somewhere if I look really hard. Does it taste like cheese then?

Hi Jen, well done on maintaining.

I think drinking plenty of water really helps, I did this last week (well from about thurs) and although I was relatively good on plan, I could of been better. I think it is only the water that helped me lose.

I am also interested in the mix and match, I just don't understand it.....but then again I best wait until I have got the hang of red days before I try mixing. I keep forgetting i'm on red or forget what HE's i've had, so have too many etc..

Good luck with drinking for this week......

Peachy do we have a target for this week maybe everyone trying to drink loads of water should be it!!!!!

Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.
  • Hi Everyone
Just reading about sw. Thinking about starting next week but it all seems confusing. Can anyone explain in easy terms for me. Thanks
  • pariskate quark is skimmed milk soft cheese, that's why it's often near cottage cheese which is essentially the same thing, just not quite as refined.you could try mashing, sieving or blending cottage cheese in a food processor as a substitute, many vegetarian recipes use cottage cheese and quark interchangebly or even use tofu, the silken type, but don't know if it's a hea or synned.also think you could just use fromage frais which is also soft cheese really but a bit runnier which is why it's used as a cream substitute.probably would need less though or maybe extra gelatine to compensate

  • also i'm sure any brand of yogurt should be fine as long as it's 0% and sugarfree.you could try mixing very low fat plain yogurt with sweetener and a drop or two of vanilla essence as a substitute

pariskate - Quark takes on the flavour of things you mix into it. Therefore if you mix your dairylea HEA's into it the whole pot tastes of dairylea - same thing with mayo if you mix it in (after the initial syns of the amount you mix then its free afterwards.
