WI wasn't too bad as I only put on 1lb and I accept that - I had 2 naughty nights last week.
This week I will be GOOD, I will be GOOD, I will be GOOD.
Have I convinced you and myself yet?

    Morning

Weigh in this morning, and I think I have lost weight (but we will see if their scales agree). Went way over on my syns yesterday, so just hope the weight isn't lurking somewhere just waiting for the chance to sneak back on :D

Need to go and get some jacket potatoes later, but will have to steer clear of the wine and chocolate aisle.

Will post later and let you know how I get on.
You're only young once, but you can be immature forever :D

    Good morning everyone,
Thanks for all your well wishes for the hospital yesterday, it went ok, just will have to vist for regular checks so I guess that is as positive as it can be (I am far less stressed now as I do get myself really worked up and worried).
Have to confess to giving into some of the easter choc yesterday, but today is another day, my OH brought us both bikes yesterday so we can go out and enjoy bike riding as a family which is a lovely idea so I am hoping that helps me along the way.:T

Have had a quick flick through the posts I have missed, and have to say a very very big well done to TG that was brilliant, keep up the great work:T :T :T :T :T

    Have a good day, Choccie x x:D

I got my first thing off freecycle yesterday, I have never been quick enough or on at the right time, I got a treadmill, just what I need , it is really hard work as it is a manual one but it will do the job.
I made a really nice cake tonight , my consultant put it on our forum, it tastes like dark chocolate, cut it into 9 peices and each finger is only 1 syn each, I used a silicone loaf tin I got in Aldi a few weeks and it just peels off it. I used slightly less sweetner too.You can get Scan Bran in Holland and Barrett it is awful but in a cake it is really good

    Low-Syn chocolate cake
    Syns for the whole cake:
    9 yummy Syns or 6½ Syns + 1 Healthy Extra ‘b’ choice
    You will need:
    5 Scan Bran
    3 beaten eggs
    1 level tbsp golden syrup
    1oz cocoa powder
    ½ mug sweetener
    Method:
Soak the Scan Bran in boiling water to soften. Then drain and mash.
Mix all the ingredients together and pour into a microwavable bowl.
Microwave on high for 7 minutes. When cooked the cake will be springy to the touch and will have pulled away from the side.
For a free topping, pile with (defrosted) frozen forest fruits or, for extra Syns, top with chocolate spread.
The cake sounds yummy will have to have a go :cheesy: , just be careful not to over do it and start eating a cake a day ,like the coucous cake hun as that was low in syn , people were going mad on it and starting to not loss weight  , but will make it thanks ,keep up the good work :T
