Thanks gpuss. I know I need different foods, but I just can't think straight enough to work out what to have thats easy! I fancy savoury rice, but not sure that would satisfy me on its own? Might nip out and see what I can find in the local Somerfiedl at lunch.
Oh, and I don't have the password this week as I didn't go to class - can anyone help me? :rolleyes:0 -
thanks for all the lovely replies regarding drinks, going to pop to supermarket later, to stock up on mug shots, yogurts etc, and will also try some of the robinsons barley water
thanks againenjoy life, we only get one chance at it:)0 -
Hiya all,
Catt, I can really relate to how you are feeling, I also really really want to lose but for some reason eat things without even thinking (of course then feel terrible afterwards and guess what I have some more). I have not been terrible over the past couple of weeks but have to admit to not being a saint, I have been alot more active with walking and had a lovely bike ride last night (no jiggy on the menu though!!:p ).
I have alot of things In may/june that will invole me going out socially which I dont do because I feel so rubbish about how I look, knowing I have to go to these things should really spur me on, but its not and I dont know why.
We have to keep at this though, otherwise we will go the other way and slowly but surely gain:mad:

How about the sparkling flavoured waters (no added sugar) most supermarkets to their own make ones in a range of flavours, they are a nice change to squash.
Well done to everyone staying on track, :T :T :T and welcome to welshnutter:j:j :j :j:A0 -
Not all the flavoured waters are free so be careful!
I've just been out and bought some savoury rice for lunch! Forgot it in the microwave (upstairs int he works kitchen) and it started burning but its ok now - so nice to have something I don't normally! It's 0.5syn for the whoe packet!0 -

Sorry, I thought the nas ones were, now could I blame my lack of weight loss on that??;):j :j :j:A0 -
To be fair I'm remembering this from my first class three years ago, but my consultant did say to check first!
The Schweppes Indian Tonic with lemon isn't for example. Can't think of any other makes - I don't drink it! What NAS brands are there and I'll check online?0 -

Low calorie/no added sugar drinks are free - both fizzy stuff and squashes. However, they still have various chemicals in them which you may be reacting to, so why not try having water with ice and a slice of lemon or lime, or hot water with a slice of lemon. It's nice, honestly:)I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

Its just that not even the thought of that (which I want more than anything in the world) will spur me on. So mad at myself! I drink loads, buy all the yoghurts etc, but don't feel like any of it. I'm bored of mugshots, but don't have a lot of time to prepare anything too fancy for work lunches so I'm always dying to go out and buy a baguette from the sarnie shop (though I've resisted recently).
Las Vegas/New York is worth slimming for, believe me :j
Do you make the SW quiches at all? They are very easy to make and can be eaten cold & sliced either on their own or with a salad (or even SW chips). Savoury rice can be made up and plumped out with lots of added veggies then eaten cold as can a potato salad (tiny diced potatoes, spring onion, peppers & mayo) and pasta salad - all easy to prepare and keep in the fridge till next days packed lunch.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
must have changed then

Oooh are they?? I think I should get some brochures - that might spur me on!
Never been that keen on quiche - but that breakfast one sounded good if someone would be kind enough to post the reciepe again?
I love my savoury rice (at the mo anyway!) so will have that again definately. Never been sure on HM pasta/potato salad as I feel it needs lost of naughty sauce! Might Google a few receipes and see what I come up with. Thanks0
