    I've been Money Tipped!
    Good morning all :j

I have an idea of a way to help us stay on track, sure many of you do this but thought I would mention it incase like me some people have forgot, I am going to sort out a picture of me that I am ashamed of and put it up in the kichen (front of fridge or cupboard) and along with it put a picture of a nice item of clothing I would really like, hopefully every time I go into the kitchen its looking at me and hopefully spur me on to make the right food choice!!:D

I am thinking water today peachy - plan is 2 litre bottle! x

Going out to lunch today, only to a Wetherspoons, last time I went they did a 5-Bean Chilli so I'll have that on my green day and just drink diet drinks or water. Then tomorrow is my big night out with the girls at the Chinese which I'm looking forward to but am only going to have mushroom chow mein and Chinese stir fried veg so that won't eat up too many of the Syns.

My favourite snack at the moment is nice ripe juicy red pears - yummy!

evening everyone, nice to read all the posts and thank you for the recipe Consultant 31 - it looks delicious.
I've had another green day here and I think I got it about right. A stir fry with sinned noodles (straight to wok by Amoy) and a HEB serving of chicken, 42g Camembert (HEA) for lunch. Then tonight I had potato wedges (made with fry light), baked beans, carrots and broccoli and 4 teeny tiny meatballs (probably 30g of mince so a portion of another HEB). For drinks I've had water and coffee and now it;s a herbal tea before bed.
As I understand it correctly you can have 2 HEA and 2 HEA each day. So on a green day that could be four portions of cheese (as cheese is also HEB for green) but on red days the HEB are all pulse/carbohydrate (or HEBs which are common to both). Do you HAVE to have all the healthy extras?
Anyway I had some chocolate sins too - a small packet of buttons - yummy!

You really should be having all your Healthy Extras to make sure that the food you eat covers all your body's needs. You only need have 1 HEA though if you don't want 2. There have, however, been some studies which show that having extra calcium can actually help you shed weight so if you enjoy cheese and/or milk you may as well have them.

BUT, it's never a good idea to have all your HEs in one food (such as cheese). You should be aiming to have as many different foods as possible - to make sure you get all the nutrients you need and to stop boredom settling in (a diet killer if ever there was one).
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

Someone at my SW meeting on Tuesday had a brilliant idea. She is going to have a syns box and put in there chocolate, crisps, biscuits etc. and is then going to write on the lid the syn value of everything.

When she gets the urge to nibble, she will pick out whatever she has enough syns left for.

You do have to have the willpower to only take what you allowed though ;)

    - :oThank you!

So there you have it - I could kick myself for allowing the weight to creep back, but, like everyone else, I'm only human and make mistakes, but this one can (and will) be put right!

Good on you! I think that's great and makes me even more confident of the SW diet, as you know it inside out and have such obvious faith in it. Thanks for satisfying my nosiness too:beer:

Well, after 4 bad days and 3 good, I've maintained, so I'm happy with that. I've got my determined head on so I WILL LOSE this week. Don't get disheartened Nessa, hon, just stay with it:A.

Just want to say to Paw666, wow, what a fabulous achievement:T. I'm inspired as I have even more to lose. If you (or anyone else) has any tips for people with a lot to lose, please share).

There are lots of people on here now, so forgive us if we don't mention, welcome or congratulate everyone. I read *all* the posts and they all help, I just can't remember all the names:D

    Good luck everyone xxxx

catt-i'd go back to the doc and tell him(just guessing!) you want to change back.your bmi will inevitably get higher if your hormones ain't in order so that's shooting yourself in the foot really.from personal experience it's virtually impossible to lose weight when your hormones are GENUINELY unbalanced.if he doesn't agree ask for a second opinion at your surgery or simply go elsewhere!

Thanks Kelly - I will give SW a week or two at 100% and then go back - I've only got two packs left anyway, though he was evil and threatened not to let me have any pill  I don't want anything else - I've been on them 11 years through a weight range of 6 stone - why take them off me now as I'm losing weight
