    Hello!

I am a newbie MSE forums, and have just found this thread so wanted to say Hi! :D

I joined SW in Feb and have so far lost 10.5lbs so am really pleased! It is very difficult to stay motivated 24/7 but I am finding it quite easy to follow and stick to!

So good luck to all my fellow SW'ers!

    morning everyone......

im off to work at 6.45am , will be back by 11ish(am ) dont feel too hungry at the mo, so im just going to have some fruit and yogurt and take an Alpin light with me. When i come back i will have a cooked breakfast of bacon, egg, mushrooms+ toms !!!!!!
just put a chicken in the slow cooker for later.

im not sure who posted about the sw sausage rolls.. but can anyone tell me do you have to cook the sausages a bit first ?

hope you all have a great day
AMIE you dont have to cook the sausges first , you flatten bread , spread cheese triangles on and roll sausages in bread to make them look like sausage rolls , i cut each one into three and they cook through :D, dont forget you can use quorn sausages too , for anyday

As I crave sweet things, I have made a cheesecake this morning, Sampled the left overs from the bowl and tastes great See the following receipe from the Asda website, I make it out to be 7.5 syns per serving, :j :j :j

    Lemon cheesecake
We’ve taken this rich dessert and given it a healthier new makeover, so you and the rest of the family can enjoy a guilt-free pud
    Serves 6
    Ready in 50 minutes
    Plus chilling time
    Ingredients
    • 6 light digestive biscuits, crushed
    • 25g butter, melted
    • 3tbsp lemon juice
    • 1 sachet powdered gelatine
    • 75g fruit sugar (fructose)
    • Finely grated zest 1 lemon
    • 350g Quark (skimmed milk soft cheese)
    • 250g Good for you Greek-style Yogurt
    • Few drops vanilla essence
    • 227g strawberries
    • Few blueberries, to serve
    • Mint sprigs (optional)
    panel-shop-buy2.gif
    Method
1 Preheat the oven to 180C/ 160C Fan/Gas 4. Grease the inside of 6 ramekins or individual flan tins and line the bases with baking paper. Mix the biscuit crumbs with the melted butter and press into the bases of the dishes/tins. Put on a baking tray and cook in the oven for 5 minutes. Remove from the oven and set aside until they are completely cold.

2 Put the lemon juice in a mug or small basin with one tablespoon of water. Sprinkle on the gelatine and leave to soak for 10 minutes. Stand the mug or basin in a pan containing a little gently simmering water and leave until the gelatine has dissolved. Set aside one tablespoon fructose for the fruit sauce. Add the rest to the gelatine and stir until dissolved.

3 Put the lemon zest, Quark, yogurt and vanilla essence in a large bowl and whisk until smooth. Add the gelatine and whisk until evenly mixed. Divide between the ramekins or tins and chill until set.

4 Meanwhile pur!e two thirds of the strawberries with the reserved fructose to make a sauce. Carefully turn out the cheesecakes and serve with strawberry sauce, topped with strawberries, blueberries and a few leaves of mint.

Made the Baked chocolate cheesecake last week it was either in SW mag or Web and was awful. this lemon one taste great though.

I think to prepare a mango, you cut it in half and then cut slices into the flesh one way and then slices again the other way so it looks like lots of little cubes and then "turn it inside out" so it looks almost like a hedgehog and slice away the cubes from the skin!

I think that is right! I hope!

:D I love comping! Just waiting for the call from ITV! :D

bringmeshoes - I'm not keen on fresh mango either - weird isn't it!

Had bowl of banana, grapes and strawberries for breakfast and now having quorn chilli and rice for dinner. Just messed up lunch as OH came home and wanted to go out, so I had a starter garlic deep fried mushrooms! (Could have been a lot worse!)

    Catt xx

Welcome to you mokeyjen and well done on you loss so far.

I forgot to take the chicken out the freezer last night, I was going to go over to the pub for a sunday lunch, but then dh reminded about the football, so he's watching that at mo (well it is just finishing) instead I am going to make us a prawn stir fry...Prawns as HEB and blue dragon sauce (1/2 pack 3.5 Syns) i've not tried it before so hope it's nice!

To be honest, i've not been sticking to the FO plan very well this week. Can somebody please give me some motivation, or a big kick up the backside..

Mel, I'll kick your backside if you kick mine. I've had a bad weekend. Had a takeaway, a huge bar of chocolate, and it was my brother's birthday today, so out for another meal and booze:eek:.

I don't want to undo all my hard work, so I'm back on the wagon tomorrow and I promise to be good:A
