160, I think its worth dropping a line to SLimming World - I'm guessing there's a Head Office on the website or in the magazine. She's got no right to comment on your daughter like that and I think if you can keep in unemotional you should also state why you felt the need to leave her class. She's not only harming her own business interests but it turns people off SW for life. They would like to know this I'm sure as would any company so they can improve things. A local male SW consultant was removed not long ago as he piled on the weight he had lost and set a bad example and HO didn't want that. I really believe in SW as my first consultant was absolutely wonderful. The last two haven't cared much, but I know it works for me so I keep going. The classes I go to now are so big that there's no personal touch so I have no incentive to stay, but I'm sticking with it!0

hi everyone,
have sent an email to head office via the website, kept it calm, and explained why i was concerned, so just waiting for a reply, i will let you know when i get a reply back what is said.
thanks for all your comments, luckily our normal consultant is back next week, so i shouldn't have to face her again.
had a dreadful day, been in a meeting, and ate 8 biscuits cos it was boring, but never mind these things happen,
will crack on with a fresh start, lol.
thanks again everyone,

That's appalling, 160 - good for you for standing up to her and reporting her. It's all too easy for young girls to hear something like that and end up with a complex
Hi friends, apologies for my absence, no excuse other than the end of my job, been cleaning out dusty corners and having a wonderful time shredding stuff. One of the blokes who'd come to help cart stuff to the tip took a shine to me, which does the ego no end of good!:D
I don't quite know what's happened to my weight, I was doing really well, got down to 74.5kg on Monday week, then this Monday it had shot back up to 76kg. I asked my OH not to buy me an Easter egg so he didn't (nor anything else, but c'est la vie  I'm quite used to him by now!). I've had a bit of the kids' chocolate, but not enough to warrant a 3lb gain, surely?
It's the middle of the month, when I've learned to expect a slight rise, but not by that much. I've been going to the gym twice a week, three if I can, and doing quite a bit of work on my arms and shoulders, so I suppose some of it could be attributed to muscle?
On the plus side, OH and I went to a do recently and I wore an LBD for the first time in years; I got it for a fiver in a charity shop late last year, knowing I wouldn't be able to get into it as it was only a 14 (but it was SO lovely, I HAD to have it, it was my first Goal Dress), and just looked at it occasionally, kept trying it on, was able to do it halfway up, then all the way up, then do it right up AND move around, so I gave it its first outing and got loads of compliments, so I know the inches have come off, but that gain is really p***ing me off!
Firmly back on the SW wagon now, going to try more red days. Was sticking to green because it was easier (and cheaper than buying loads of meat) but am finding meat protein fills me up more, so ...
Ahem, sorry for burbling. Taken me so long to catch up! Hugs to everyone who needs them, congrats to the losers, welcome to the brave new souls
Skint-Catt, hope you made the right decision for you. It's never easy, is it? I call that kind of decision a Reader's Digest Moment after an article I read once (very shortly before the OH and I got together) - it was about when you have a choice of two paths at an important point in your life, you have to choose one, but which one ...?

1601, I totally agree, you were right to report her. Our consultant is lovely, and we have such a laugh at the meetings that I look forward to going.
Soggy, don't worry about the 3lb gain, at our meeting a couple of weeks ago one lady had put on 4 lbs and didn't know why - the next week, she lost 4 lbs, so sometimes it just happens
Don't get disheartened, you'll probably have a good loss next weekYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -
Thanks Charlies Mum, just so annoying to have been doing so well and then -wham! Ah well, onward and downward.0
