Ah, well, now, um, lets see, well, uh - nope, none really, nada, zilch, nuffink! :o :rotfl: I know I should and OH has got the mountain bikes out for the first time this year but its yet to be warm enough for me to venture out (we walk up them thar hills when we can though!). On snowy Monday we got back from our nice warm tour of a stately home to find our neighbour putting away his and a friends bike - they'd cycled 40 miles!! We hurried in asap both looking sheepish! :rotfl:

The thing is, you don't have to do 40-mile bike rides Catt (though it's great if you do that). Even a good walk around the park or a stately home is excercise. The beauty of it is you do more because you don't really realise you're doing it. If you were on that bike you would be counting every mile!

You probably do more than you realise, but I'm all for doing something you like. I'd rather mooch around the shops for 3 hours than hit the gym ;)

  • SAMJ - I mainly have green days. i find it hard to think of things to eat on a red day as i am quite fussy about meat (used to be a veggie, tried to get braver but i still don't particularly like it IYKWIM). I liked the idea of the birdseye steamfresh salmon thing someone mentioned - are all of them free on red? If there are any red day fans out there i'd appreciate a few suggestions of what to eat :D

Welcome to kelly, melly, hels & any other newbies ive missed.

    Morning fellow slimmers

Just got back after 6 days away, and got on the scales this morning, and think I may have got away with all the pigging out :D I did have lots of things that I shouldn't, but did go easy on the bread and potatoes and did lots of walking.

I don't get weighed until next Tuesday, so will try to be really good from now on. Any chance anyone could let me know this weeks password please ?

hehe i got some funny looks when we walked into the cafe after our ride covered in mud on snowy Good Friday too. (I may have fallen off into a swamp but sssshhh no laughing :o )

and i bet you do something skint_catt - even a long walk counts?

We do try and get out for a good long walk most weekends, but at the moment the best I can do is a circuit of the city in my lunch-hour. OH is away a lot at the mo with gigs (he's a drummer in his spare time ) and next month with car shows (1932 Alvis and a 1924 Rhode) so we won't have much time then either. :o But we have got the bikes out which is a start and with the clocks going forward on Sunday we might even try and get out one evening!

    Mornin gang

Well I weighed in this morning (my new official wi day) and I've lost another 3lb since Sunday:j:j:j:j, so I've now lost 10lbs in 3 and a half weeks (which is not bad, as I had a 3-day binge and gained a couple and then I hit the choccy over Easter. I have many stones to lose, so I realise it will slow down a lot, but I'm still pleased:D
A big big big weldone to you         , go girl, go girl :T :T :T , thanks really good , peachy x
