I need inspiration. You all seem to be well into the diet and the menu and meal suggestions are great.
I had lost half a pound off 6 stone on the diet, but unfortunately in the past couple of months I've gained half a stone! Birthdays, weekends away, parties! I feel terrible for it, but I've got into a really bad way of eating again. I'm scared stiff I'll put it all back on. And with so many easter eggs lying around the house it's really hard.
It's so frustrating because I was only a stone from my target!
I only do green days and I must admit I don't vary my diet much, and don't drink water.
I've got some good recipes for green meals, pesto pasta, curry and chilli, all dead easy. I'll post them if anyone's interested.
I'll be on again later. Bye for now. :-)
Keep up the good work!

Don't worry i have the running gear, have been doing it for a while & have built up to 5-6 miles 3 times a week. On a good week i also do 1 spinning class, 1-2 body pumps and a swim. It gets hard to fit it all in though!
I am 5'2" and currently size 10-12. I am quite small built & ideally want to be a size 8. The smallest i've ever been is 8 1/2 stone and i was still a bit insecure then so i guess another 1/2 off would be ideal.
Me too:D When I was at my smallest I always bounced between 8 1/2-9 stone and always seemed to be a size 8-10, but like you say I too was a bit insecure even at that weight....although that was many years ago and i'd trade my soul to be that thin now:rotfl:
Well done on managing that amount of excercise in a week, the hardest part is fitting it in imo. I have got a bike in the house so usually try for 30mins 3-6 times a week.i would love to find time to do it every day. I am thinking of starting yoga and pilates again too.
Out of interest how much excercise do all you sw'ers do in a week??

Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -
Hi mollie's mum
Wow what a great loss, and i'm sure you won't put it all back on.
I would be interested in your recipes too if you would post them that would be great.

Ah, well, now, um, lets see, well, uh - nope, none really, nada, zilch, nuffink!:rotfl: I know I should and OH has got the mountain bikes out for the first time this year but its yet to be warm enough for me to venture out (we walk up them thar hills when we can though!). On snowy Monday we got back from our nice warm tour of a stately home to find our neighbour putting away his and a friends bike - they'd cycled 40 miles!! We hurried in asap both looking sheepish! :rotfl:

Hi everyone I have joined slimming World today and after looking at all the support you give to each other is amazing.
Just need to ask one question. I love the look of the green days because of all the potatoes, pasta etc you can eat freely. Do alot of you find that you lose more on the red or green days?0 -
Hi mollies_mum and samj, I have to say the people on here are some of the friendlist I have meet, good luck with SW it really does give excellent results (dont be put off by my very poor performance, I have a battle with food at present)!

Hello to all the newbies and all the regulars!!
Hi Samj, You will lose whichever you choose as long as you stick to the plan. I think doing both red and green helps to keep your body guessing, but you could also mix things up by eating different things on just green or just red days. Also drinking lots seems to help too. After doing WW for years, I have found SW easier and more effective and the people on here are incredible at giving each other ideas and keeping everyone motivated. this is better than any slimming class I've tried.
Good luck and let us know how you're doing xx:smileyheagpuss0 -
Hello all,
Well I'm Helen I'm 27 and my first class was last night! Since having my little boy I put 2stone on I managed to lose a stone with WW but feel I need a change, I'm so looking forward to trying out new foods!
I'm just wondering if anyone has any quick and easy receipes they can pm me! I've heard about these mug shot things which I'm going to get tomorrow, I'm not thw worlds best cook and I struggle coming up with things to make, for example my tea this evening is couscous and a sweet potato! Think I'll be opting for green days!
I would appreciate any advice you have or quick fixes!!
x:xmassmile Looking forward to December:xmassmile0
