well done on the running, it gets easier to go when it is light at night doesn't it! But make sure you get good running shoes if you want to do it regularly a friend of ours took it up and ended up needing operations on his knee/s because of the stress running puts on them if not kitted out correctly.
I want to get to 8 1/2 stone in the end, but everyone keeps telling me I will look too thinI have done mini targets on the way so a stone or a half stone at a time that way when i feel comfortable I can stop there and not feel like I have failed to get to target iykwim...
Mel x
How far have you got to go? I think the nearer you get to target the harder it becomes.
Don't worry i have the running gear, have been doing it for a while & have built up to 5-6 miles 3 times a week. On a good week i also do 1 spinning class, 1-2 body pumps and a swim. It gets hard to fit it all in though!
I am 5'2" and currently size 10-12. I am quite small built & ideally want to be a size 8. The smallest i've ever been is 8 1/2 stone and i was still a bit insecure then so i guess another 1/2 off would be ideal.0 -
Hi everyone.
Hope you are all doing ok.
Im really starting to get my head round it all now. The 4lb lost on monday has boosted me on.
Last night i had a quorn stew in the slow cooker, it was lovely and dh has took some for dinner at work today and im having it for dinner too. I have loads left to freeze for later too.
I prefer green days i think, iv only done 2 red days and i seemed to be hungry on those days? Does any one else find this? I just love mug shots on green days they are so filling!!
Tonight im having spag bog with the meat as a HOb.
Hope you are all doing ok
Donna
Hi
I have green days all the time. I find most meals easier to cook and all very filling. I have done 1 red day since joining at the end of January and was hungry most of the day. I also find green days are alot cheaper!! I have now lost 10lbs on just green days.0 -
Good afternoon all, I have managed to leave work early but have to confess to coming home and being very naughty:o
have jut sat and ate for the past half an hr, and worse of all have had the dreaded chocolate after not eating it all easter!! So, so, so fed up with myself its not true, and to top it of I have weigh in tomorrow:eek: .
Wish I knew why I did it, sad part is I didnt really enjoy it, t was just cos it was there and I thought I would just sit and watch the tv for half n hr before getting on with my jobs, I am a very silly girl:mad:
So I am now thinking of ways so counterbalance my sillyness, exacly how many times do I need to run up and down these stairs?!
Well done to everyone who is staying on track x:j :j :j:A0 -
Hi Choccie
know what you mean about eating thing just becasue they are there, it is hard. My down fall was biscuits and cake and I've got to the stage now where I can look at them and say well I won't have enjoyed them when I've eaten them, Also like the chineese I love so much, now found when I've stuffed my self with it and feel so unconfortable what was the point of eating it.
Just try thinking of how uncomfortable it makes you feel and grab an apple or aplen light which I'm sure you will enjoy more0 -
Thanks Mel x
Just disappointed in myself, the stuff has been in the house all over easter but I only crack today and onceI start its like a slippery slope!:j :j :j:A0 -
Woo Hoo - clocks go back this Sunday girls (and boys!
)
Lighter evenings mean less TV and more activity! Also means I feel moer like fruit and salads than stodge too! :j0 -
Didn't realise they changed this weekend!
Really must try and get my exercise machine back in the house.
Don't worry Choccie, don't be to hard on yourself, we are only human after all. You can still do it. Get the fluids and the fruits goin.0 -
Hello fellow Slimming Worldies, please may I join you?? I'm Debbie, 44 with 2 girls.
I need inspiration. You all seem to be well into the diet and the menu and meal suggestions are great.
I had lost half a pound off 6 stone on the diet, but unfortunately in the past couple of months I've gained half a stone! Birthdays, weekends away, parties! I feel terrible for it, but I've got into a really bad way of eating again. I'm scared stiff I'll put it all back on. And with so many easter eggs lying around the house it's really hard.
It's so frustrating because I was only a stone from my target!
I only do green days and I must admit I don't vary my diet much, and don't drink water.
I've got some good recipes for green meals, pesto pasta, curry and chilli, all dead easy. I'll post them if anyone's interested.
I'll be on again later. Bye for now. :-)
Keep up the good work!
Debbie x0
