Colour Run Disaster

Hi gwinnie,
Dylon's colour run remover is probably your best bet. I've seen it in Tesco and Woolworths. Good luck with getting it out.

I stupidly washed some white pillow cases in with a new red duvet cover. My white pillow cases are no longer white!!!
Shall I wash the pillow cases in the machine again this time with bleach? If so, how much and what temperature of wash?

Hi dave...
I wouldn't put bleach in the machine. I suppose you could soak them first in bleach but I think the safer option is this.0 -
Thanks, i will have a look for that tomorrow.

I managed to put my thick cotton top which was light pink in with some darker coloured washing and it's taken on a distinctly grey tinge.
It's one of my fave tops. Can anyone suggest how to return it to its original colour?
Have already tried washing it on its own with a dye grabber and it didn't work.
I would be so grateful for some help with this.

OH put on a wash load of black clothes. He also put in a grey sweatshirt of mine and a grey suit. Once washed he has then tumble dried them and put them in the ironing basket (we need to iron after he does washing!) I took out something to iron and wear to work this morning and have seen it has a black mottled dye run all down one side. Everything grey now has dye spots all over it. What can I do to get rid of them or is it too late? I know you can get colour run stuff for whites but doesn't that just bleach the clothes back to white. My clothes should be grey not patchy grey/black.
Please help thanks0 -
hi totally broke
in my experience once something has been dried it tends to set - but hopefully someone will have better news for you
just looked on internet and it says that Dylon Colour Run Remover restores whites and colours - might be worth a try as it only costs a few pounds i think0 -
I need help. My sons red sock got into my white wash. My husband is not happy as all his YSL and Ralph Lauren tops are now pink.
How can I make them white again?
I tried a whiten powder then put them on the line in the hope that the sun would bleach them back white.
Can anyone help to save my marriage?0 -
