I used it months ago to unlock a few E900s. Can't remember what I did exactly, I think you connect your phone to your PC using the USB cable, load up the unlock software select which comm port the phone is connected to and the model. Click unlock and it does it stuff.

The thing I do remember is that after it had done the unlock, I had to remove and reinsert the battery to get the phone refreshed and working again.

Oh the other thing I had to do was run it on a rather old PC as I coul dnot find the comm port on my newish PC.

How much does it cost to unlock blackberrys?

I have an 8600 that is faulty- and T-Mobile have said it will have to go back to Nokia for inspection, ive only had it 4 months! which may take 28 days although maybe longer

I know there is nothing i can do but they wont offer me a replacement phone or temporary one- but what is the law regarding that?

I pay £55 a month for my contract- surely they have an obligation to provide a phone and line?
