Just tried the samsung software and it works fine. If you have a cd rom that came with the phone try installing with that.

The software is a tar ball. Install 7 Zip or any other archive extrator to extract it. http://www.7-zip.org/download.html

Hi, I hate to ask you for a code, seeing all these pages of requests and codes, you certainly are kept busy. I have checked all the websites you listed plus paid websites, and almost paid for a couple until the T&C said that the "unlock report does not necessarily include a code".

I am looking for a code for my 3 locked Sony Ericsson k800i and nowhere lists it as compatible, so if you could help I would be very grateful.

Its just like a zip file.Install 7 ipsoftware below. Right click on the file and extract to the location as shown in the picture below.

oh no the one i got is nothing like that - it doesnt say its a zipped file anywhere

Have you installed 7 zip ? It is similar to a zip file. I tell you what I will convert to a zip and upload to megaupload. Even better I have converted to a self extracting file. Download from megaupload (save to your pc) and double click it. It will extract the files etc itself.

Remember to backup your GDFS before you start flashing etc.

great so i have all the software ready to go now

so i plug in the phone open the softeware select j600 an hit the unlock button ??
