Just read this thread and was wondering if someone can help... Brought a sony ericsson Z310i for my daughter for £15 (thought it was a good bargain at the time... now not so sure lol!!) Didn't realize is was for O2 pay as you go. Was hoping to use a virgin, or vodaphone sim with it. Sorry if I sound daft but is this possible... and if so how!!! Not that good with electrical stuff etc!!!...

This is for a proper unlock code. The same that Vodafone would send. No need to send you phone away and it does not invalidate your warranty.

I've scanned this thread and searched Google for a way to unlock my Sony Ericsson K750i for free.

I've had to send my new S500i off for repair and wanted to use my old phone as a back-up while it's away but didn't think it might be locked. My SIM is O2, and the K750i is locked to Orange.

I'm soooo not techy so please bear with me if I've totally misunderstood this, I'm sure there's a reason there's only Nokias mentioned...

You could try patch unlocking but it depends on what CID No. The phone is.
