I have picked all my spring onions before the frost gets them. Mostly they are White part only. Any ideas what I could make with them. I have about 3 pounds of them !!!!!0

champ uses spring onions. Or, how about fryingg some down & using a quiche with a nice strong cheese ?

yes freeze them - but they wont be suitable for salads. however, spring onions are lovely griddled or can be added to stir fries, curries, casseroles or even mash!0

We had a big fry up last week and hubby peeled loads of them and bunged them in the pan with the pork chops - gorgeous!
We still have a box full of them so would welcome any more ideas.

I have a load of them just now as well and am literally chopping a whole bunch at a time and chucking them in the pan with whatever I happen to be cooking. So, for example, a pile of whoopsied mushrooms, chopped, into pan with crushed garlic and a pile of scallions, dry fried then added to pasta with a wee bit of parmesan on top.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal.
